Love Island USA season 6 has officially wrapped up after Ariana Madix announced Serena and Kordell were the winners. After this announcement, many fans felt JaNa and Kenny's newly formed connection made them the perfect candidates to earn the winning title and take the grand prize home.
The two love birds took third place in the dating competition series and are still going strong after filming wrapped up. As viewers know, JaNa struggled to find her love match in the villa after being heartbroken multiple times during the recoupling ceremonies. When Kenny entered the villa as a new bombshell on Love Island USA, JaNa could sense the chemistry between them and had a good feeling about pursuing him romantically.

Despite the two agreeing to pair up as a couple, they had problems when Kenny returned from Casa Amour. However, JaNa and Kenny resolved their issues and found their way back to each other.
JaNa and Kenny were ranked third on Love Island USA season 6 finale episode
Before Kenny entered the villa on day 13, JaNa had coupled up with Hakeem. Unfortunately, the Love Island USA contestant Hakeem was eliminated and sent home due to fewer votes. So, JaNa was single in the villa and sought someone to establish a strong connection.
She was also hurt by cast members Coye and Connor, as neither of them put effort into the relationship. During the recoupling ceremony, Connor blindsided JaNa by choosing Leah over her. Towards the show's end, JaNa decided to give love another chance by getting to know Kenny better. Their date went well, and the two immediately felt they had found "the one."
However, the major twist in the Casa Amour week caused a strain on their relationship. This was when Kenny was confused about who to choose as he walked in with the new bombshell Catherine. He had the option to break up with JaNa and pair up with Catherine, but he didn't.
The Love Island USA star realized his mistake of choosing Catherine when he saw JaNa break down in tears. In his final speech, Kenny mentioned what the decision process was like for him:
"On my worst day here, I walked into the villa after Casa and I saw you at the firepit by yourself in tears, and it hurt me so deeply to see you like that."
After the episode was aired, Kenny shared how he felt "appreciated" in JaNa's presence. In a July 24, 2024, interview with Blavity, Kenny Rodriguez, opened up about how he felt after JaNa's speech. He realized that the Love Island USA cast member was having a heart-to-heart conversation with him through her words.
"My jaw dropped when she said that in the speech. I had no clue that was happening. And the fact that no one else understands, no one else speaks it there, none of the couples do, she was just speaking to me, speaking from the heart and talking about how much she appreciates me, that was special," Kenny said.
