Love Island USA season 6 began airing on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, and saw ten new islanders making their way to a luxurious villa in Fiji. The islanders spent the next four to five weeks in the villa, trying to build and sustain connections with fellow singles.

The finale of the sixth season was released on Sunday, July 21, 2024, and one of the final four couples was announced as the winner. Kordell Beckham and Serena Page were declared the winners of Love Island season 6. Meanwhile, Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi were named the runners-up. JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez were placed third, with Kendall Washington and Nicole Jacky earning the fewest votes and standing in the last position.

Some of the other contestants on Love Island USA season six included Robert "Rob" Rausch, Aaron Evans, Kaylor Martin, Hannah Smith, and Coye Simmons. New islanders began joining the cast during the airing of the show, while the previous cast members found new connections. However, the introduction of the new islanders tested many of the relationships formed previously.

Initially, Kendall had partnered up with Hannah Smith, but their relationship came to an end after Nicole Jacky entered the villa in one of the later episodes. Upon her arrival, Nicole expressed her interest in Kendall, which he also seemed to reciprocate.

Kendall and Nicole became a Love Island USA season 6 couple on Day 10

Nicole Jacky entered the Love Island USA season 6 villa, along with Andrea Carmona, as a bombshell, following the entry of the original cast members. Both of them were given a chance to "steal a boy" before being asked to pick two boys each to take on dates. Nicole chose Kordell and Kendall.

Nicole and Kendall seemed to form a bond and grew closer as the show progressed. After their first date, Kendall told her that he had started "feeling" for her a little. The two officially coupled up on Day 10 after Kendall picked Nicole. This led to Kendall's previous partner, Hannah Smith, being sent home as she didn't have a partner.

Meanwhile, Kendall and Nicole stayed loyal to one another, until Miguel Harichi entered the villa as a bombshell. He and Nicole shared a kiss, causing a little conflict between her and Kendall. However, the two continued pairing up with each other during the firepit ceremonies.

Unlike most couples on the show, Nicole and Kendall's relationship wasn't threatened after the Love Island USA Casa Amor segment. The two had set strict boundaries for themselves, and while they met, interacted, and even kissed the new bombshells, they were certain that they wanted to be with each other.

During the recoupling ceremony after Casa Amor, Nicole, and Kendall chose each other instead of the new islanders. At the ceremony, host Ariana Madix asked Kendall how he felt, and he told her that no one came close to the connection he had with Nicole.

"I've been in Casa for a couple of days and chatted with the other girls and it just got to a point where, I was like, no one comes close to the connection I have with you. You're honestly so special so I'm happy you're here and I was just begging to come back here just to see you," the cast member said.

Although they were romantically okay, Nicole was upset with Kendall for supporting and encouraging Aaron and Kordell's actions during Casa Amor. She called out his behavior along with the rest of the female islanders during Movie Night. Nicole explained the situation to Kendall and told him that because he was "so close" with the female islanders, they held him accountable for encouraging their partners' behavior.

Throughout their time on Love Island USA season 6, the two expressed their feelings and were honest about being interested only in each other. They were one of the three couples who earned video phone calls from home after the Mr. and Mrs. Right challenge.

Nicole and Kendall made it to the finale and went on their final dates of the season. Although the two expressed their feelings several times over the course of Love Island USA season 6, when Kendall confessed his feelings for Nicole, she seemed hesitant to express herself.

Kendall told her that he loved her on their final date, and Nicole assured him that she had feelings for him and that she would eventually get there. Her partner told her that she didn't have to say it back until she was ready. However, during their Declaration of Love, they expressed their true feelings publicly, and Nicole told Kendall she loved him too.
