What happened between Leo and Hannah in Love is Blind season 7? Love triangle explored

With the release of the first six episodes of Love is Blind season 7 on October 2, 2024, fans witnessed some unexpected twists and turns from within the pods. Featuring 14 single men and 15 single women, participants are not allowed to have any distractions inside, including their phones, as they talk to other singles behind a wall to find a life partner.

One of the single men, Leo, introduced himself in the lounge by suggesting if they fall for the same woman, the other should "back off." As everybody started to get to know each other, Leo started building some sort of trust with Hannah and Brittany in Love is Blind.

Feelings of affection were mutual among all three, but soon Hannah got wind that Leo was telling Brittany the exact same things that he was telling her. When confronted, Leo came forward with the truth in front of the ladies and asked for more time to decide whom to choose. This prompted Hannah to deepen her connection with Nick and break up with Leo.

In the pods, when Hannah revealed that she had said yes to Nick, Leo spiraled out of control. He expressed to Hannah that she made a bad decision and should reconsider since he loved her.

"You are special enough for me to tear my f***ing hair out all day. I wanted to talk to you first. And now I come in here, and I hear that you made the decision. I feel like we didn't get the chance," Leo shared.

Despite this, Hannah stood firm, explaining that Nick had been sure about her since the start while Leo still wouldn't commit to her despite claiming to love her.

She later told Brittany in the lounge about the same as she was worried about the latter with Leo. Hannah stated that she felt being manipulated by Leo and didn't want Brittany to go through the same. Leo met with Hannah for the last time in the pods of Love is Blind and asked Hannah to put in some good words for him in front of Brittany.

Hannah refused and warned Brittany about Leo, as she did not believe what he was saying. Giving the example of last night when he asked to be with her, but today he said he would go on one knee for Brittany immediately. Before the couples went to their honeymoons, Hannah said yes to Nick, and Brittany and Leo also broke apart, as informed by the title card at the end of episode 5.

Leo defends his meltdown in front of Hannah on Love is Blind

In an October 3 interview with People, Leo expressed that he could have handled things differently looking back on the footage of Love is Blind but still defended his stance as he was emotional due to the circumstances.

"I definitely lost my cool. I wish that I could have handled it with maybe a bit more grace. At the same time, I was really vulnerable, and it's not something that I'm used to doing," Leo explained.

He further continued that this is not how he is usually but understands that he wasn't his best self. Leo mentioned that talking with Hannah helped him open up emotionally.

Hannah also sat down for an interview and shared her two cents about the situation that took place in Love is Blind. She recalled that being in this position became very confusing for her, as she didn't want to get in between Leo and Brittany. Brittany went into the pods to break up with Leo but was shocked by the behavior of Leo.

"It was just a very confusing situation because I knew he was dating Brittany and I decided to choose Nick. If you say that you have this great connection with Brittany, it shouldn't be a problem. So I think I was shocked. I was just like, whoa. I just wasn't expecting that," Hannah said.
