Love is Blind UK was one of the regional versions of the hit Netflix dating shows that emphasized emotional connections, to find a potential partner. One of the cast members who gave a second chance to her newly formed bond was Nicole. During her time in the pods, Nicole developed a deep understanding with both Sam and Benaiah.
She was confused about whom to choose as her partner until Sam proposed to her in the pods. Nicole said yes but something "didn't feel right" to her. Sam also agreed that he couldn't feel the connection he did in the pods. Nicole quickly realized she had found her soulmate in Benaiah and went to correct her mistake.
Fast forward to the honeymoon retreat, Love is Blind UK contestants decide to give their strong connection another chance by joining other engaged couples in the retreat. By episode 11, the wedding day had arrived which meant that the two love birds had to decide if they wanted to commit to each other or go their separate ways.

One of the main concerns Nicole had about Benaiah was his "nomadic lifestyle" and that he would change his mind one day, and leave to pursue that again. As she had been divorced once, she had doubts and was nervous as to whether her new relationship would last.
Despite their rocky journey and finding their way back to one another, the couple said yes at the altar and officially got married. Love is Blind UK episode 11, titled We're Not Ready, was released exclusively on Netflix on August 21, 2024. The episode synopsis reads:
"The remaining couples meet at the altar, faced with a life-altering decision: either say "I do" to their partner, or to walk away forever."
Nicole and Benaiah's connection on Love is Blind UK
On Love is Blind UK episode 11, Nicole told the cameras that the wedding preparations and the celebrations were part of the "frills." For Nicole, the main reality was "marriage" which required effort and work.
Due to her previous marriage, Nicole was unsure if she and Benaiah were ready for this chapter as a couple. During her confessional interview, she said:
"I'm in two minds today. My heart, two thousand percent says yes. My head keeps saying 'There's still so much you haven't worked through together.'"
When it was time to walk down the aisle, Nicole and Benaiah shared how "unconventional" their journey was. Nicole mentioned how she found someone who "spoke to her heart" and that Benaiah understood her like "no one else had done before." Nicole said:
"When I came to this experiment, although I was hopeful to find someone, never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would meet someone who literally spoke to my heart the way you did. From our first hello, I felt like you were my kindred spirit. You understand and see me in ways that I've never quite felt seen before."
After the wedding vows, both the cast members said yes and got married. The officiant introduced them to the guests as Mr and Mrs Grunewald Brydie.
