Love is Blind UK season 1 dropped the first four episodes of the popular Netflix social experiment on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. During the segment, fans saw several couples get engaged while others left the show single.

Out of the 30 singles who appeared on the show, 12 found love and got engaged over four episodes. This included Sabrina and Steven, Jasmine and Bobby, Nicole and Sam, Maria and Tom, and Demi and Ollie. However, only five of them made it to Corfu, Greece, where the show filmed its honeymoon section.

Nicole and Sam, who got engaged in episode 3, decided to part ways in episode 4. As stated by both cast members, "something didn't feel right."

"No one's ever loved me" - Sam proposes to Nicole in Love is Blind UK episode 3

In Love is Blind UK season 1 episode 3, Benaiah warned Nicole about what Sam had been saying about her and some of the other women to the other male cast members.

He told her that Sam wasn't on the Netflix show for the right reasons and that he knew things that would indicate the same.

"I question his integrity and motives for being here. I believe he's basically here for fame, not for love." Benaiah said.

Nicole was taken aback and confused by the revelation but knew that she needed to make up her mind. In a confessional, she said she was "perplexed" and "stunned" "by it all."

She added that Benaiah threw a "spanner" in the works because she felt that Sam had been "consistent" with her.

"I'm emotionally exhausted and confused, I don't know," she told the cameras.

The Love is Blind UK female participant spoke to her friend Jasmine, who also formed a connection with Sam previously in the season about the situation. Jasmine told her that Ben would make Nicole more "emotionally fulfilled" since they were both similar in a "spiritual way." Jasmine added that Sam lacked that depth for her.

When Nicole told the cast member that Sam had been telling her from day one that she was it, Jasmine said that he told her the same thing. Jasmine told her that she had "two great guys" and she would pick what was best for Nicole.

Later in the segment, Nicole said she didn't want to believe what Benaiah told her since Sam made her feel "very assured."

He asked her to trust him and told her that she was the "most amazing person" who deserved "so much happiness." Sam added that he just wanted to make her happy. The Love is Blind UK star said he had "so much love to give" and asked her to trust him.

He told her that he would fight for her. Nicole responded by stating that she loved how she was able to open up to him. The Love is Blind UK season 1 female star said she loved him.

"No one's ever loved me. I need someone to love me more than anything as well, okay? I have to be real with you," he added.

Sam got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Nicole said yes and the two met for the first time in episode 4. However, their journey was brief and short as the two returned home instead of going for their honeymoon.
