The episode showcased Niles and Matilda formalizing their relationship by marrying, following the traditional Ghanaian wedding ceremony. Despite having unresolved issues, the couple was thrilled to become husband and wife.
As Niles sat among a crowd of unfamiliar people, he reminisced about his parents, who refused to bless his relationship with Matilda. He found solace in Mr. and Mrs. Arc, who oversaw the wedding as his parents. Although he felt overstimulated watching Matilda's family and guests partake in customs he was unacquainted with, he felt calmed upon seeing Matilda in her wedding dress.
Niles and Matilda accepted one another in the presence of the community elders. Then the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days male cast member put a ring on Matilda's finger and read his vows. The now-married couple left the wedding party in a car while the guests applauded and cheered for them.

While speaking to the cameras, Niles declared it was the "happiest day" of his life, while Matilda expressed excitement over becoming his wife.

After handing him the money, Mr. Arc advised the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days cast member to "behave like a married person" post-marriage and not do anything that might dishonor their traditions. He even introduced the intimacy norms to Niles, warning him not to stray from them.
After a while, Niles and Mr. and Mrs. Arc arrived at Matilda's family home for the wedding. They greeted everyone and took a seat while waiting for Matilda. While speaking to the cameras, the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days cast member confessed he felt nervous and worried about making mistakes.
Soon the guests started the knocking ceremony, clapping and singing, while some brought gifts. The ritual overstimulated Niles, who stated that he experienced sensory issues.
"I'm surrounded by people that I don't really know. Everyone is staring at me and I'm about to participate in a ceremony that I don't quite understand," he said.
The 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star further stated that he was in over his head, contemplating his decision to marry Matilda. He hoped he was doing the "right thing." However, Niles' concerns were put to rest after he saw Matilda before his eyes.
After Matilda arrived, the elders asked her if they should accept Niles' gifts and proceed with their marriage or send them away. The guests applauded and cheered when Matilda asked her family to receive the offerings, hence, approving Niles' proposal.
During a confessional, Matilda confessed she had fallen in love with Niles all over again. Although they had ongoing disputes, Matilda refused to imagine her future with anyone else. Meanwhile, Niles declared Matilda was "the one" he intended to marry.
After Mr. Arc placed Matilda's hand in Niles', he asked the cast member to put the wedding ring on her and read his vows. Niles vowed to remain loyal and cherish Matilda no matter what came their way. Then the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days pair signed official documents and concluded the ceremony.
"You're finally Mrs. Valentine. I can now finally say that Mrs. Valentine isn't just my mother," Niles said.
The pastor blessed the couple and declared them husband and wife. Niles then thanked Matilda's family for accepting him as their son-in-law. Although unsure of what the future had in store for them, he was thrilled to have Matilda by his side.
