Love is Blind: Germany aired episodes 5 to 8 this week on Friday, January 10, 2025. The segment featured the engaged couples enjoying their honeymoon in Crete, Greece but not everyone that came together, left together.

While the episode saw several couples go closer together, two couples parted ways. This included Tolga and Shila, and Pascal and Shella, who decided they were not a perfect match.

Shella and Pascal went on an outdoor date, during which Shella said she needed to help her partner open up to her more but didn't want to force him. The two spoke about other couples, and the male cast member said he felt they had began to move things forward but assured Shella that they would get there as well.

However, later in the episode, as the cast hung out together, Pascal spoke to the boys about Shella and his relationship and said that he felt like they were "treading water a little bit." He explained that the feelings he had for her while in the pods had "tanked." The female cast member also spoke to the other women about her relationship with Pascal and said things had been "difficult."

Later in the episode, the two discussed their feelings and decided to end their relationship as Pascal stated he wasn't sure he had "serious" feelings that were needed to make a relationship work.

"I tried my hardest" — Shella chimes in on her breakup with Pascal in Love is Blind: Germany episode 5

In Love is Blind: Germany episode 5, titled, Decidedly Undecided, Shella and Pascal discussed their relationship. The female cast member asked him what he thought of their connection and said she "really" liked him and believed they complemented each other well.

While Pascal agreed, he said there was a "big difference" between getting along well and having a fun time to knowing whether they were headed towards a "serious relationship."

"I can't give you more at this point in time," Pascal said.

The Love is Blind: Germany star added that he didn't think he had the "kind of feelings" that would be necessary for a serious relationship with Shella. He told her that he wanted their relationship to work, but he knew ending it was the "right thing to do."

Pascal added that sometimes, doing the right thing could hurt. The two hugged as they said goodbye. In a confessional, Shella revealed that she had started to develop feelings for the Love is Blind: Germany participant.

"For my part, I know I can truly say that I tried my hardest to make him feel good from the start, but, yeah, I guess it wasn't enough," she added.

Pascal also commented on his relationship with Shella in a confessional and said that they got along well and had a "lovely time" together. However, he added that he got along well with his friends as well. He said it was "unfortunate" that those "important elements," like not being able to keep one's hands off of each other and wanting to spend all their time together were absent.

Pascal and Shella were not the only Love is Blind: Germany couple who broke up in episode 5. Shila and Tolga, who no longer felt the spark in their relationship also parted ways.

The two discussed their relationship in the episode and Tolga told Shila that he felt "empty" on the inside, which wasn't how he felt with her while in the pods.

Love is Blind: Germany will air its season finale next week on Friday, January 17, 2025, on Netflix. Tune in to see which couples tie the knot.
