RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars premiered on August 16, 2024, with two episodes. Contestants from 12 different countries come together and compete for the prize money of $200,000, the title of "Queen of the Mothertucking World," and a spot in the International Pavilion at the Drag Race Hall of Fame.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars showcased various guest judges that will feature in this global version of the franchise. Alongside RuPaul, Adriana Lima, Ariadna Gutiérrez-Arévalo, Carson Kressley, Danna Paola, Dianne Brill, Graham Norton, Jasmine Tookes, Javier Ambrossi, Javier Calvo, Matt Rogers, Ross Mathews, and Ts Madison will feature as guest judges in the first season.

The judging panel, led by RuPaul and Michelle Visage, faces the challenge of evaluating queens from different international series, many of whom haven't been judged by RuPaul before.

The season starts with a split premiere, featuring six queens in each episode with no eliminations, allowing viewers to get to know all the contestants. Each episode includes three runway performances, and each of the 50-minute episodes gives all six contestants a chance to shine.

Soa de Muse’s French cabaret performance didn't fare well, as international languages often don't do well. However, all the lip-sync performances were highly praised by the judges, including guest judge Adriana Lima.

Besides Soa, Alyssa from America, Miranda from Brazil, Australia's Kween Kong, Belgium's Athena Likis, and UK’s Kitty Scott-Claus competed in episode 1 of RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars. After the Garden of Eden runway, Alyssa, Kween, and Miranda are the only ones left who go head-to-head to become the winner.

Miranda opts for a trapeze act while the other two perform a lip sync number. The judges ultimately decided that Kween and Alyssa were both the tied winners and would get $5,000 each.

In the second episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars, which aired right after the first, the remaining queens shared their personal and emotional stories in the werk room, adding depth to their characters. Alyssa, the winner of the first episode, spoke about drag being more than just performances and extravagant looks, calling it "a journey of courageous souls."

Queens like Tessa from Germany and Gala from Mexico expressed their admiration for Alyssa, with Gala even saying she fell in love with drag because of Alyssa's show.

Meanwhile, Nehellenia expressed mixed emotions through her journey in drag as her father didn't approve of her career. She shared a heartwarming story when her father was working in the same club as security where she was supposed to perform. Her father kissed her and told her she was the most beautiful one there.

Pythia did a storybook time performance and Gala did pole dancing. Nehellenia and Vanity sang covers of old songs. Eva did a mix of everything as she sang, danced, had a sword fight with a dragon, and even added comedic elements to her performance.

The second episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars concluded with Vanity Vain winning the talent show in a lip sync battle against Eva, solidifying her position as a top contender. The episode sets the stage for the competition to intensify, with the queens ready to showcase their fashion in the upcoming ball challenge.
