Before the argument ensued, Tata and James, went to try traditional Javanese dresses for their wedding. While Tata seemed excited about the trial, James struggled to accept the "unique" style. His attire comprised a dress, a jacket, and a headgear.

"I feel weird. There's no way to say it. I'm wearing a dress. A dress with a bucket on my head," James said.

The 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way couple's day soon hit a rough patch when James started to worry about the expenses of their wedding. While working on making jewelry for a business they began, the male cast member expressed his concern to his partner. He mentioned it would be helpful if people actually bought their products.

They had to depend on their savings since their business had yet to take off. While speaking to the cameras, James explained that despite approaching countless stores, none accepted them because they clashed with their designs.

When James revealed that most of their customers were in the US, Tata suggested shipping the products to them. James rejected her idea since it would add to their expenses. He reiterated that they required money and had to find a quick way to solve the issue, to which, Tata replied that she had already started applying for jobs.

However, it would be difficult since they were all in another city.

"Before I moved to the US, I was a data scientist here in Indonesia. Over the past few weeks, I have been applying for that position again. But most of the offers are in Jakarta, and Jakarta is like nine hour from here by train. And also it's really expensive," she said.

James mentioned that society would "eviscerate" him if he remained unemployed. Besides that, Tata's family would also start seeing him as a "failure." Having run out of options, he suggested they return to the US, bothering Tata.

She immediately replied that she did not want to "move back." When James tried to reason with her, saying they could not let Tata's parents cover their expenses, Tata retorted saying:

"I miss them. I don't wanna leave them again."

When James tried to console her, the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star clashed with him, claiming he was not truly understanding her. She revealed living in the US was "so hard." Tata got emotional, recalling how much she suffered physically.

Besides everything, she did not want to return because James was "mostly working" while she stayed in the house. She surprised him by saying:
