Love is Blind season 7 released two more of its episodes, i.e. episodes 10 and 11 on October 16. Airing right before the finale episode 12, these episodes documented couples in the final phase of the experiment. They met each other's friends and family and resolved issues as they prepped to walk down the aisle.
Tim and Alex were among the couples who didn't work out. They broke up not long before their wedding day after Tim realized Alex wasn't his happily ever after. Episode 10 of Love is Blind was their last episode which began with Tim making Alex meet his parents, who approved of her. However, later in the episode, he sat her down and told her he couldn't go any further.
Alex meets Tim's parents on Love is Blind season 7 episode 10
Alex gave both of Tim's parents side hugs when she saw them. Tim introduced her as his fiancé as his father, Tim Sr. called her a "beautiful lady". They told her Tim's actual name was Drake, and Tim was just his father's name. Unlike most parents, Kim, Tim's mom said she liked the idea of the Love is Blind experiment.

According to her, sometimes it was hard for Tim to open up. Alex echoed her sentiments and said she did find him vulnerable. Then Kim stated that Tim withdrew himself when vulnerable and asked Alex how she dealt with it. Alex said she gave him the time and space he needed.
Kim then explained that relationships and marriages would work only if one is willing to give and take. She added that they were very serious about marriage as a family, to which Alex said that she thought the same way and that divorce wasn't an option for her.
Tim breaks up with Alex after she met his parents on episode 10 of Love is Blind season 10
In another scene between Alex and Tim in Love is Blind episode 10. Tim sat Alex down because he wanted to talk to her about something. He said he didn't like that she went to sleep when his parents were over. He explained that they had driven for 10 hours to meet Alex, and she had chosen to nap right after the filming of her scene with the parents.
In her defense, Alex said that she talked to his parents for four hours before taking an hour-long nap. She added that she had a tiring day at work which was why she napped. Tim then brought up another topic of grievance. He said that Alex hadn't talked to him or spent time with him all day the other day, and hadn't acknowledged the text he sent her either.
Alex said she received the message in the text and thought it was okay to not respond. She said she didn't know not responding would bother Tim, alongside her taking a nap. So she urged him to communicate more and let her know what bothered him so she could correct it.
Tim also brought up that he had to do the dishes after he cooked grilled meat for Alex's parents the day before. Alex said she didn't know he was bothered by it and said he should've told her he didn't want to do the dishes. Tim said he didn't want to be with a partner who needed to be told how to act. He then said he wanted to end their journey there, took his jacket, and left the house.
