Too Hot To Handle Season 6 released all its episodes on Netflix. The show had previously released seven episodes, but Netflix released the rest of the episodes on August 2, 2024. The show revolves around singles brought together to find love and form a connection.
Episodes 8-10 were the last batch of episodes for the season and led to the finale, where Bri and Demari were voted as the winners. Episode 8 witnessed Flavia, who was coupled with Joao, start forming feelings for the new arrival, Jalen.
The feeling seemed mutual throughout the episode. Jalen even set his eye on Flavia since he entered the show. He said:
"Flavia is definitely my type. I know she is with a guy, but I definitely want some of that."

Although Flavia and Jalen were interested in each other initially, at the end of episode 9, Flavia confessed her distraction to Joao. She tried to reconnect with Joao instead of forming a bond with Jalen.
Flavia and Jalen from Too Hot To Handle
Flavia, an alum of Too Hot To Handle season 4, arrived as a new arrival in episode 2 of Too Hot To Handle season 6. She had built a strong connection with Joao until Jalen entered the show in episode 7. Jalen showed instant attraction to Flavia, and although Flavia was with Joao at that point, she admitted that Jalen might have turned her head.
In episode 8 of Too Hot To Handle, Jalen and Flavia were seen talking and sharing that they would like to explore their new connection. Flavia also accepted that she felt drawn towards him. Jalen seemed completely okay with breaking the connection between Flavia and Joao.
The girls were called out for a workshop to let them embrace their discomforts and deal with the difficulties. At the workshop, the girls were made to jump into an ice bath. Flavia showed discomfort at the idea, and the workshop host replied that she might have a "can't do" attitude.
Jalen and Joao sat together to talk about what was going on. Jalen told Joao that he and Flavia had been talking about the possibilities of exploring their new connection. Jalen told Joao:
"I don't know how honest she is with you but from the perspective I am getting is that she is open to talking and getting to know me."
Before the girls went to the workshop, Jalen and Flavia went to Lana's Candy Land party, which made Joao uncomfortable. Jalen took the initiative to talk to Flavia and get to know her side.
Jalen had been clear in his intentions and showed no regret in "jumping on someone's toes," as he says. Though Flavia admitted that Joao was a really sweet guy and anybody would be lucky to have him, she also added that she wanted to get to know Jalen.
By the end of episode 9 of Too Hot To Handle, Flavia and Joao decide to be together as they go on a date. Flavia called Jalen a "new toy" and told Joao that she felt this connection was real but was self-sabotaging it because she had a habit of pushing the right people away. At the end of this episode, Flavia and Joao choose each other, and Jalen seems out of the picture.
Although Jalen and Flavia did not connect during the retreat, things did not end well for Joao and Flavia either. In episode 10, Joao broke up with Flavia with a "breakup song."
