Bananas cleared the round and openly announced at the end of the episode that he would be targeting Devin's "cult" members Tori, Nia, Olivia, and Michele.

The Challenge 40 episode 10 focused on the to and for between Tori Deal and Johnny Bananas as the two contestants openly tried to plot against each other.

Bananas continued to hold a grudge against Tori for targeting him during a past elimination. He decided to form an alliance of his own called Johnny's Angels consisting of Aviv, Jenny, Laurel, and Rachel.

The Challenge 40 contestants gathered for the daily challenge, where host T.J. Lavin revealed a crucial twist: the outcome of the challenge would directly impact the male competitors, as only they were at risk of elimination in this episode.

The daily challenge tested the players' physical endurance and mental sharpness. Contestants were tasked with collecting specific balls and completing a puzzle. In the end, Tori secured victory among the women, while Jordan won in the men's category.

Ryan finished last in the challenge and was scheduled to compete in the elimination round. The winning contestants, Tori and Jordan, were deliberating between Bananas and Derek, unsure of whom they wanted to send to the elimination round.

Bananas's selections were seemingly based on a personal vendetta against Tori and Devin. He chose Nia, Olivia, and Michele. While selecting the contestants, he said:

"Even though he's [Devin] no longer with us. So, I'm gonna follow suit. I was originally gonna go with Devin's main cult member, which is Tori, but she's off the table. So instead, I'm gonna have to go... Sorry, Nia, but you. Uh, I will have to pick Devin's pet snake, Olivia. And his soon-to-be CHAUE ex-girlfriend, Michele."
