Love is Blind Mexico wrapped up season 1 this week on Thursday, August 15, 2024, and saw several couples make it to the aisle. Although several couples made it to their wedding day, not everyone walked away married, including Francesca and Willy.
In the days leading up to the wedding, the couple got into a huge fight when Willy suggested they were incompatible. This angered Francesca, who yelled at him and called him a "coward." The two eventually made up and decided to continue on the journey but their story didn't have a "happily ever after."
At the altar, when Francesca was asked whether she wanted to get married to Willy, she said that although he taught her so much, she had decided against marrying him.

In Love is Blind Mexico season finale episode 10, Willy and Francesca made it to the aisle, but didn't make it past it together. The female cast member praised her fiancé but ultimately decided not to get married to him.
"My wings are telling me to fly much higher. And I hope that yours will one day unfurl and take off," she said.
The female Love is Blind Mexico star stated that she hoped that one day he would see that a "strong woman next to a man" didn't make him weaker. She thanked Willy for reminding her who she was —"whole and apologetic."
Francesca assured him that although they might not have gotten married, they would one day marry other people and that it was getting "closer" for both of them. The minister asked Willy if he wanted to say something to the Love is Blind Mexico participant and he read his vows out loud.
He stated that regardless of how amazing she was, compatibility was crucial in any relationship. Willy added that he valued their connection and thought their differences would affect their "ability to grow together."
"Thank you for being part of this incredible adventure, and for sharing your life with me, been if it was for a brief but significant time. With gratitude, love, and respect, Guillermo," he added.
The two hugged each other and parted ways. Francesca's mother, Diana, chimed in on the situation and said that her daughter has had some "hard knocks in life." She added that the Love is Blind Mexico star faced them proudly and overcame her obstacles.
Willy's mother, Esther, said that Willy and Francesca got to know each other on a "different level" and realized they were incompatible. She felt not getting married was the "best decision for both of them."
Francesca stated she wished Willy a life filled with love and adventure and hoped he would "unfurl his wings and sour." Willy also praised the cast member and said he thought Francesca was "incredible" and that he loved her. He added that his time on the social experiment had been "infinitely better" because of her.
Although Willy and Francesca didn't get married, Karen and Fernando did. When asked whether she believed "true love" was blind, Karen said yes.
Fernando also said yes and wanted to include her daughter, Emily, in the nuptials. After praising his to-be wife, he spoke to Emily and promised he would take care of her mother and her. He told her she was a "wonderful girl" and that he would give her "everything" he had in his relationship with Karen.
He gifted her a bracelet, similar to the one she had gifted her previously on the show, and thanked her for everything.
