Love After Lockup season 5 released a new episode on Friday, October 18, 2024. The segment depicted Troy and Zeruiah paying a visit to the latter's psychic, Patrice to seek advice on the future of their relationship. While Troy was uninterested, Zeruiah insisted he accompanied her, stating she needed his support in case Patrice made a shocking revelation.
During the consultation, Patrice revealed the Love After Lockup couple would soon encounter a troubling time. Zeruiah's concerns were heightened when the psychic stated she sensed a female's energy around Troy. Patrice added it did not belong to Yona, Troy's ex-partner, but to someone else, causing Zeruiah to question Troy's fidelity.
Troy reassured Zeruiah that he was honest to her and their relationship, urging her not to believe what Patrice was implying. At the same time, he was surprised that Zeruiah was suspecting him of infidelity when she was the one who cheated on him while he was imprisoned. Their argument subsided after Patrice told Zeruiah that he was not cheating on her at the "current moment."

Later in the same episode, the Love After Lockup couple visited Zeruiah's parents, who were shocked to discover that their daughter had been seeing a psychic for the past year. They expressed their disapproval, associating a psychic's work with witchcraft.
Troy and Zeruiah meet with a psychic in the latest episode of Love After Lockup season 5
Zeruiah wanted to visit her psychic, Patrice, because of the recent financial and personal crises. She hoped to get clarity and guidance from the consultation. On the contrary, Troy was not too keen on meeting Patrice. While talking to the cameras, he revealed he did not believe someone could "seek out" his future. However, he agreed to accompany Zeruiah because he wanted to be a supportive partner.
While reading the cards, Patrice warned the couple that "a lot of changes" were about to happen, including "painful endings." She added that she sensed a "drama-filled" female energy surrounding Troy who was not "the baby mother," implying it was someone Zeruiah was unaware of. Zeruiah stormed out of the consultation after hearing that.
When Troy followed her outside, she asked:
"Are you cheating on me?"
The Love After Lockup star reassured her that he was not cheating, but it was not enough to persuade Zeruiah. She was convinced he was talking to someone else. Zeruiah requested Troy to come clean instead of deceiving her like how she admitted her "mistake" of cheating on him while he was in jail.
Troy preached his innocence, urging Zeruiah to let go of her insecurities. The female cast member's concerns were put to rest when Patrice confirmed that despite the female energy, Troy was not cheating on her. However, in a confessional, she revealed that Troy was hiding something.
After their consultation, the couple visited Zeruiah's parents' house. Although Troy was not religious he respected Zeruiah's father's advice to frequent a church because he knew it was in his "best interest."
While sharing a meal, Troy opened up to his in-laws about the challenges of running a business. He discussed how difficult it was to attract customers. Meanwhile, Zeruiah refrained from sharing their financial problems because she did not want to worry her parents. Nonetheless, she feared losing the office and home if she failed to keep the business afloat.
When Zeruiah's mother asked the Love After Lockup couple what they did to tackle differences, Zeruiah revealed she had been seeing a psychic for the past year. Her parents were shocked by the news and disapproved of her decision to consult a psychic. They believed a psychic's work was witchcraft. Irrespective of what Zeruiah said, she could not shake their belief.
They urged Zeruiah to follow her religion's teachings instead of a psychic's suggestions. Despite that, the Love After Lockup star refused to change her ways, convinced Patrice was onto something.
