Love Island USA season 6 aired its season finale on Sunday, July 21, 2024, and saw Kordell Beckham and Serena Page emerge victorious, as they received the most votes from America.

The winners recently spoke to Blavity TV about their time on the show on July 24, 2024. Kendall and Nicole— one of the finalist couples on the Peacock show— were also a part of the interview, during which, the male islander opened up about his "biggest regret" on the show.

While Kendall didn't pursue another woman while in Casa Amor, he encouraged Aaron and Kordell when they pursued Daniela and Daia respectively. This led to him receiving a lot of backlash both from the cast and the fans.

While conversing with Blavity TV, Kendall Washington opened up about the same:

"That is my biggest regret leaving the villa, was how I acted in Casa. I'd say getting caught up in the moment, seeing how my guys were in that Casa experience and thinking that this is what we just have to do," he said.

He added that encouraging the male islanders was his "initial instinct" after seeing them happy. Kendall added that he should have thought about it more and about the female islander's feelings, and been "respectful."

During the conversation, Kendall added that there were different ways of getting to know someone new and that while in Casa, the male islanders took it to a "deeper level". Chiming in on encouraging Aaron and Kordell's behavior, he said that it wasn't in his "character at all."

"I 100% see where Serena and Kaylor were coming from, how hurt they were when I came back, because of how much I’ve supported them through thick and thin," he added.

Kendall added that he learned so much about himself while on Love Island USA season 6 and one lesson that he took back was that he couldn't "please everyone." He added that in the show, people couldn't be friendly towards everyone either, they had to be "honest." The islander added that one had to be honest even if meant hurting someone's feelings.

Kendall explained that he got "caught up" in trying to ensure everyone was happy during Casa Amor which didn't translate too well on camera.

"And then it came across as, “Hey, you told me I was supposed to be happy, but on the other end you’re telling that same person.” That’s why I was like, “I know you’re a dodo for doing that," he added.

Nicole Jacky also chimed in on the same and stated that she reminded Kendall during the show that out of all the male islanders, he was the closest to the women.

She added that the women would come to him for advice, including the Casa Amor girls. Nicole added that the Casa Amor girls' equation with Kendall would justifiably upset Serena and Kaylor.

The Love Island USA season 6 islander added that she saw Serena and Kayor's point of view since she would be "literally holding them" as they cried.

"And no bad intentions, but I think definitely a learning lesson," she said.

Kendall and Nicole placed fourth in Love Island USA season 6 while Serena and Kordell won the show and walked away with a grand prize of $100,000. They then divided the amount between themselves and became $50,000 richer.

The Love Island USA season 6 cast will return to screens for a reunion special set to air on August 19, 2024, on Peacock.
