Sister Wives season 19 will be released on Sunday, September 15, 2024, on TLC. As seen in the trailer for the upcoming season, the show will reflect more on Kody's struggles as he deals with his split from his first three wives, Meri, Janelle, and Christine.
While he is still married to Robyn, they too are witnessing some cracks in their marriage.
In the trailer for season 19 of Sister Wives, which was released on August 13, 2024, Christine introduces her new husband David Woolley to the Brown family. Moreover, Janelle and Kody mourn the death of their son, Garrison Brown, and Robyn confronts Kody about their current relationship.

Kody Brown's first wife Meri was married to him for over 24 years and has a child named Leon. The pair eventually legally broke off their marriage in 2014 but the couple claimed to be spiritually together.
While talking about her relationship with Kody in one of the episodes in 2020, Meri stated that even after their split she still loved him and their family and was not going anywhere.
Things started to fall apart during season 17 when Kody asked Meri to move to Utah after her mom's death. She was heartbroken that Kody was telling her to live away from him and the family they started together.
By the end of Sister Wives season 17, Meri told in a confessional that Kody wanted to work on his broken relationship with Christine and not theirs. By January 2023, the pair officially announced the “permanent termination” of their marriage.
The trailer for the upcoming season 19 shows that their relationship is getting worse. In his confessional shown in the trailer, Kody says that he should have never married Meri in the first place.
Janelle Brown
Kody and Janelle got spiritually married in 1993, three years after he tied the knot with Meri. During their relationship, they welcomed four sons (Logan, Hunter, Garrison, and Gabriel) and two daughters (Madison and Savanah). In 2010, Janelle told PEOPLE that it was difficult for them to handle and "raise multiple teenagers in a single home".
In an Instagram post on June 27, 2021, Janelle announced that she was living in an RV on the Browns' Coyote Pass property as she was dealing with doubts about continuing her polyamorous lifestyle.
In one of the Sister Wives season 17 episodes, Janelle told Kody, Robyn, and Meri that she did not feel like her children were welcome in the Brown family. Later on in December 2022’s Sister Wives: One-on-One special, Janelle confirmed that she and Kody had been separated for several months.
In the season 19 trailer, Janelle mentions that while they came together after the death of their son Garrison, things fell apart after some time.
Christine Brown
Kody and Christine spiritually got married on March 25, 1994, two years after his second marriage. They welcomed six children during their marriage of over 26 years namely Aspyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, and Truely.
The pair got separated in 2021 after Christine told in an episode that she couldn't continue her marriage with Kody anymore.
In his confessional, during an October 2022 episode, he admitted that he was sad after his split with Christine and was living in a delusional world where he wished Christine hadn’t left him.
Currently, Christine is married to David Woolley and can be seen introducing her husband to the Brown family in the trailer.
Robyn Brown
Kody Brown married Robyn 16 years after marrying his third wife Christine Brown. The pair were spiritually married to each other on May 22, 2010, however, the legal ceremony took place in December 2014.
Robyn had three children from her previous marriage with David Jessop; Dayton, Aurora, and Breanna. Kody took all three of them into his big Brown family.
The pair welcomed their first kid, Solomon, on October 26, 2011. Their second kid together was a daughter named Ariella, who was brought into the world on January 10, 2016.
Their current status though is a bit rocky. In the Sister Wives season 19 trailer, Robyn tells Kody that she is feeling left out and is losing respect for him.
