"Thank you for all the prayers and support throughout her battle, At this time, the family would like to have time to process, grief and make arrangements in peace. We will give an update as soon as we have information to share," he added

The comments section was flooded with tributes from Musi's fans, where they sent their condolences to her family.

She took to her Instagram page to share the news, stating that she had been inactive on social media for a long time "due to an unexpected life change." She revealed the news to her fans and added that the cancer had "moved" to her lymph nodes and liver.

"I don't think I would have had it any other way. Every time I brushed my hair it would just fall out in clumps. I had bald spots and excessive shedding it was just getting to the point where I was ready to take that step," the race car driver said.

In October 2023, she was undergoing treatment at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, and reportedly, her lymph nodes were normal by that time. Before that, Lizzy shared an update in July 2023 that her "tumors have decreased in size" and posted a few glimpses from the cancer center.
