Reality TV superstar Kim Kardashian recently opened up about her attachment to her Hidden Hills home. In an interview with People magazine published on June 26, 2024, the SKKN founder revealed that the best memories she ever had were in her "family home," and she wished for her kids to have the same memories in their Hidden Hills home. Kardashian told the publication:
"I can't ever imagine moving."
The all-white Hidden Hills mansion was acquired by the reality TV star in 2014 alongside her ex-husband and the father of her children, Kanye West.

Back in 2014, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West purchased an estate, completely clad in white, in Hidden Hills, California, for a whopping $20 million. The former couple spent couple of millions more on renovations to the property, adding to its value. In 2018, Kim's mother, Kris Jenner, tweeted that the megamansion is worth $60 million.
Despite Kim and Kanye going through a messy divorce in 2021, the PAW Patrol: The Movie star kept her carefully modeled Hidden Hills mansion. Although Kris Jenner and 'The Things' both claimed that the home was worth around $60 million in 2021, Kim Kardashian bought it from her ex-husband for only $23 million. In an interview with People magazine published on Wednesday, Kardashian explained:
"The best memories I have growing up are in our family home, and I always want to create those memories and safe space for my kids."
Kim Kardashian is the mother to four kids she co-parents alongside Kanye West, North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5. As mentioned earlier, Kim could never think of moving from this place. She further told the publication:
"We’ve created such beautiful memories here already."
Kardashian also did not want to let go of the house due to its aesthetic, which took her a few years to put together. Kim told People magazine that her mansion acted as her "sanctuary of calm." She said:
"When I step inside after a busy day, it creates a sense of peace that allows me to truly be present with my kids. After all, at the end of the day, that's what matters most."
Kardashian's Hidden Hills mansion is famous for its all-white aesthetic. The whole house is adorned in muted shades. She and West had employed the services of Belgian architect Axel Vervoordt to achieve the particular church-like aesthetic. However, Kim did let her kids design their own rooms and "go wild" with any color that they wanted.
The very same aesthetic is also prevalent in The Kardashians star's SKKN skincare and home accessories line, launched in 2022. Kim K wanted the skincare line to look good in her own home and the home accessories line to complement the skincare lineup.
Kim Kardashian's sentiments towards family homes were made clear back in 2019 when she leased her childhood family home for her mother Kris Jenner's 64th birthday. Along with the Beverly Hills home, Kim also brought out a vintage Mercedes 560 SL. This was the very same model of the same car that Kris used to own, complete with the iconic number plate '2 DIE 4'. Kardashian said at the time:
"All our memories live here especially with our dad. It’s where each Kardashian child was born and made us who we are."
Kris Jenner's husband and the father of the Kardashian kids, Robert Kardashian, passed away in 2003 due to esophageal cancer.
The Hidden Hills property is not the only expensive place owned by Kim Kardashian. She also owns a three-bedroom condominium in Calabasas, which she bought for $1.4 million. The star has also put $14 million into a ranch in Cody, Wyoming.
