Packed with twists and turns showcasing the luxurious lifestyles of the housewives living in Maryland, The Real Housewives of Potomac is back with season 9. The latest season premiered on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo. The Real Housewives is a beloved series that has spanned various spin-offs like New York, Orange County, and Beverly Hills.
Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac features Ashley Darby, Dr. Wendy Osefo, Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, and Mia Thornton as returning cast members while the fans will welcome new cast members Keiarna Stewart, Stacey Rusch, Jacqueline Blake, and Jassi Rideaux.
One of the prominent ladies in the group is Mia. She is currently dating the radio presenter, Inc. (aka Incognito) whom she met and dated during her high school days in Columbus, Georgia.
Mia previously married Gordon Thornton in 2012 and is currently in the process of separation. The couple announced their separation in 2023 and have two children together. Meanwhile, Mia made her relationship with Inc official on January 1, 2024.
Inc made an appearance on the podcast, Reality with the King, on January 22 episode with Carlos King, where he revealed that they first met in a mall where both of them were working. Inc even remarked that he had to memorize the number as Mia did not even write it down on a piece of paper.
The Real Housewives of Potomac star Mia and Inc moved in together after high school
In the conversation with Carlos King, Inc also revealed that he and Mia dated in high school and even attended prom together. They took things to the next level as they immediately moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, and lived together for a year. Later, the couple broke up after three-and-a-half years of dating because Inc wanted to move back to Georgia and focus on his career.
Mia later met her future husband Gordon in Charlotte, but still kept in touch over the years as friends. Inc further shared that with Mia he felt like she was the "one that got away." After The Real Housewives of Potomac star Mia's separation from Gordon, Mia and Inc were united again.
During a March 25 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Mia opened up about her divorce with Gordon. Mia revealed that she was "still legally married to Gordon" but the relationship between the two was over, regardless of whether Inc was there or not.
Living in a small penthouse apartment in Washington DC, she declared she was happy as she had found her love. She also pointed out that they were co-parenting their children, and praised Gordon for handling the situation with their kids in a subtle manner.
Mia soft launched Inc on social media
The Real Housewives of Potomac star posted a photo with Inc on January 1, 2024, on Instagram as the couple embraced each other. She captioned the post "4.4.4. Let's Go!" but did not reveal Inc's face or tag his ID. The radio presenter reposted the picture a day later on his own Instagram and tagged Mia.
"Today is special @mrsmiathornton. It's been two decades since we celebrated my birthday together. If only the world could see how we brought it in lol, Cheers to our happily ever after #MIAmor," captioned Inc.
Mia acknowledged her boyfriend's efforts and wished him on his birthday. Mia's The Real Housewives of Potomac castmates including Ashley and Gizelle were also supportive of the couple as they praised them for their "soft launch" in the comments section.
