Shannon Storms Beador has been a full-time cast member for nine seasons of The Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC). Since its premiere in 2006, the Bravo show has been a fan favorite. It's known for its drama, personal revelations, and problems in relationships.
Reports of Beador's sudden breakup with John Janssen, her boyfriend for three and a half years, started circulating in 2022. Page Six magazine reported that the couple broke up in November 2022, just a week after the production for season 17 of the show was completed.
After the breakup, John Janssen told People magazine in an interview published on January 11, 2023:

After meeting through friends, Shannon Beador (58) and John Janssen (59) started dating in 2019. A source close to the couple confirmed this information to the People magazine by stating:
“He’s a great guy, and really adores her. And she is equally smitten. They make a great couple together and have been having a lot of fun.”
Their relationship, which had been publicly celebrated and appeared solid, took a sudden turn when Janssen broke up with Beador in late November of 2022.
Beador talked about how shocked and devastated she was by the breakup. She remembered how Janssen's state of mind changed drastically just days after they finished filming the latest season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
In an interview with People on January 12, 2023, Shannon shed light on what led to their split:
"All I can do is repeat in my head what he said to me while we were filming. We were in a great place. But seven days later, when the cameras were down, it was a completely different story."
Meanwhile, John Janssen appeared in a separate interview with the same publication in January 2023. He shared that ending the relationship was "super hard." He discussed how special their bond was. Janssen stressed that there was no hatred between them.

Both Shannon Beador and John Janssen have reportedly only seen each other twice since the breakup at their University of Southern California games in November 26 and December 3, 2022.

Shannon also recalled the time when she wanted to go back to the Golden Door health and wellness retreat in Escondido, California. This was the place where she found peace and strength when she was splitting up with her ex-husband, David Beador.
