Maddie was hesitant about her parents still having to pay for the paperwork, which Janelle agreed with. She stated that all the paperwork was Kody's responsibility, and she had no idea what to do about it.

Janelle owns a 2-acre property that she shares with Kody. Another 2-acre lot is owned by Kody and Robyn. There is also a 4-acre plot shared by Kody, Janelle, and Meri. The largest lot, which is 5 acres, belongs to Kody and Robyn.

As Robyn and Christine built their own houses on these lots, Janelle wanted to sell her share and move on from the city. She further claimed that Meri favored her plans as according to them, the lots were the only thing they would be taking from their marriage with Kody.

"Robyn's got her house, Christine has her house. Meri has built a business, but she didn't use family money, she built that herself. So, she and I are both like, "This represents basically the only asset we would be taking from the marriage," stated Janelle.
