The ladies are back with yet another exciting season in which they have been wrapped around the drama regarding Karen's DUI incident. Few new housewives have joined the old cast members, amping up the show's drama. In the upcoming episode, more friction was created among the ladies as Gizelle held a charity event in which some ladies got kicked out for arriving late.
The new season of The Real Housewives of Potomac includes housewives who will make their return, such as Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Mia Thornton, Dr. Wendy Osefo, and Karen Huger. Stacey and Ashley butt heads on episode 3 of The Real Housewives of Potomac
Bravo released a sneak peek on October 15, 2024, in which Ashley Darby rubbed a few housewives incorrectly, including new cast member Stacey Rusch. Gizelle Bryant planned a charity event in order to raise funds for the National Brain Tumor Society. The charity event was close to Gizelle's heart due to the recent passing of her father due to brain cancer.
Stacey, Mia Thornton, and Jassi Rideaux were shown arriving late to the event by a matter of four minutes. This irked Gizelle greatly on The Real Housewives of Potomac, and she was seen ordering the security to escort them out. The ladies walked off to their parked van and vented their frustrations with one another.
Things got more heated when one of Gizelle's friends suggested that they ask the ladies to support the cause by donating despite being kicked out. Ashley volunteered, but the ladies didn't receive her actions very well and shut the van's door. Stacey later invited Jassi, Karen, and Ashley to her house for a get-together, where the topic was brought up.
In another sneak peek released by Bravo, Stacey introduced herself to the rest of the members as the old members of The Real Housewives of Potomac tried to get to know her better. She started by revealing that she has been married for 16 years and has an 8-year-old daughter.
Talking about her marriage further on The Real Housewives of Potomac, she revealed that she and her husband had lost touch, which was heartbreaking to her. To everyone's surprise, Stacey told the housewives that she was currently going through a divorce. Gizelle speculated that the former wasn't happy about the divorce since she sounded sad when sharing the news.
The ladies got excited as they learned more about Stacey's love life through Ashley and that there was a new man in the picture. This irked Stacey, who rambled about trusting her while talking about intimate details of her marriage.
"She came over here over charcuterie and drinks and spilled all my business," stated Stacey.
When Ashley showcased surprise at the sudden confrontation, Stacey explained that she had remained cautious about the subject since it involved her daughter and how it could affect her mental health if she wasn't careful. In a confessional, Stacey expressed that she misunderstood Ashley as the latter wasn’t who she thought she was.
Ashley tried to defend herself by reiterating that she didn’t think telling Gizelle about Stacey’s new man was a violation.
