Her dance school, Abby Lee Dance Company is located in Los Angeles, and coaches teams that compete in several national and regional dance competitions. The academy also gives lessons to whoever wants to learn to dance.
Moreover, Abby also takes virtual dancing classes via Zoom. June 2023 saw the start of her podcast by the name, Leave It On The Dance Floor. In an Instagram post she made before the launch of her podcast, Abby gave information on what it was about. She wrote,

Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller's illness that made her wheelchair-bound
Abby Lee Miller opened up about her diagnosis of cancer in April 2022 through her Instagram account. She said April 13 was the anniversary of the day she walked the last time. She recalled her accounts of the day saying she walked to the hospital in horrific pain to get an MRI. The doctors had to stop scanning her, "because my arms & legs were flailing about uncontrollably".
She continued to say that once she was admitted to the hospital, her blood pressure dropped and her kidneys began to fail.
"I became paralyzed from the neck down. It was too late to transfer me … Emergency surgery had to be performed. I have never walked on my own again," she added further.
After extensive cancer treatment, Abby was cancer-free in May 2019. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight in 2023, Abby shared that she started regaining her strength slowly and could walk up to 11 stairs. However, after her power wheelchair crashed into a wall in 2023, she broke her right tibia and fibula, which set her back again, as per her interview with ET.
