The hit competition show is filmed in an auditorium, which is a testament to the skilled artistry of the late Italian-American artist Giovanni Smeraldi, who hand-painted the mural on the ceiling of the auditorium.

The stage and the walls are adorned with Greco-Roman paneling that enhances the grandeur of the set. Adding to the architectural splendor, the auditorium also houses a rare Moller pipe organ, which it received over 40 years ago.
