After the finale episode, like viewers, the OG friend group realized they were unsure of their future, especially after Dolores and Margaret got into an explosive fight. Margaret was also feuding with Teresa and Danielle with Aydin.
In an exclusive interview with Bravo TV in May 2024, Rachel Fuda hinted that their friendship is beyond damage repair. The RHONJ ladies will gather again for a special episode on Sunday, August 11, 2024, and evaluate what will happen next. Referring to the "last supper," Rachel said there potentially won't be a "next chapter" for them.

She said that all cast members of Real Housewives of New Jersey have immense love for each other no matter how much they fought. Despite the unresolved issues, she was optimistic that things could improve in the future.
"You can see underneath all the madness, there is a love. You can almost feel it, you can see it, and so it's so nice at the end when you see women getting back together. But it makes me sad that that is not in the cards for, I think, most of this cast," Fessler said.

She said she wanted to surround herself with people who wished the best for her, not the ones tearing her down. Gorga was satisfied by the group falling out and was proud of herself for choosing her family.
