She has been trying to spend more time with her two children, Kensington Calhoun and Saint Julien, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Thomas Ravenel. Kathryn lives in Charleston, while Thomas lives in Aiken, a mere two-hour distance away. She's now more focused on herself and spending more time with her kids.

Currently, Kathryn is living in Charleston. According to People, Kathryn Dennis allegedly hit and ran near Whitesville Elementary School in October 2023. She was said to have hit the traffic police officer allegedly.

In May 2024, TMZ reported that she was booked by the Goose Creek, South Carolina, police department for driving under the influence. Documents suggested that she had also been associated with a three-car collision. However, no more details regarding the crash were revealed later.

Because of all such incidents, Thomas Ravenel, with whom the Bravo alum shares two kids, filed for the sole custody of their children. However, after they split in 2016, Kathryn lost custody, and they went on a long custodial battle.

She also went to rehab, and then they had 50/50 custody of their kids. In October 2018, after Thomas was arrested for a 2015 incident, Kathryn was given sole custody of their children.
