In The Bachelorette season 21 finale Jenn had to make a decision between Devin Strader and Marcus Shoberg. After having a final conversation with Marcus and learning that he still needed time, Jenn decided that she would go for Devin and get engaged to him.

The Bachelorette season 21 winner Devin Strader broke up with Jenn after the show. Devin comforted Jenn with his love and affection throughout the show, however, things weren't the same, after their engagement.

Devin was silent for some time after the breakup news was shown in the show. After the finale episode, he posted an Instagram video (now deleted) and tried to explain why he broke up with Jenn. In the video, Devin shared that Jenn's relationship with Marcus was one of the reasons.

Devin rewatched Jenn's scenes with Marcus on The Bachelorette Season 21 and it solidified his decision. He said that he had to watch himself being second in the eyes of The Bachelorette. However, he was okay with that and looked like he was Jenn's second choice. Devin said:

"I had to clearly watch myself play second to someone else, and that's okay, you know, we moved on from that. I wasn't her first choice."

Devin further added that while he can't blame Jenn for having feelings for Marcus over him, he shared that he wasn't informed about it during his relationship with The Bachelorette.

"You know, I don't fault her for the feelings that she had towards Marcus, but, you know, I wasn't informed of that even during our relationship," Devin said.

Devin also talked about Jenn's criticism in the finale about him getting distant from her after their engagement on the show. He said that he was confident about his decision to break up with Jenn, and felt that it was the right decision.

Jenn was very emotional when she was called out to talk about her breakup with Devin in the After the Final Rose episode. She said that she and Devin left Hawaii and the show after getting engaged and were very happy.
