The Great British Bake Off season 15 has already premiered, introducing viewers to the new contestants competing in this cooking competition show. After watching episode 1, many viewers wanted to know where the iconic series was filmed, as the beautiful aerial view shots were also included.

According to the September 25, 2024, Country and Town House article, series 15 has been filmed in Berkshire at Welford Park. It is located near the Welford Park House and its church. However, this isn't the first time the Channel 4 competition show has been filmed here. During The Great British Bake Off series 5, back in 2014, the filming started from April onwards at Welford Park. The location has been the same ever since, excluding the COVID-19 interruption.

Before series 5 was filmed, The Great British Bake Off series three and four were shot in Somerset at the Harptree Court back in 2012 and 2013, respectively. The 2011 series 2 was filmed in Redbridge at the Valentines Mansion.

The Great British Bake Off season 15 premiered exclusively on Channel 4 on September 24, 2024, at 8 pm. In this show, participants compete to showcase their baking skills as well as creativity. The episode premiere synopsis reads:

"Bake Off' is back, as a new set of bakers enter the tent; it's cake week and the bakers elevate a loaf cake, tackle a technical with a twist, and make bamboozling hyper-realistic illusion cakes."

The Great British Bake Off series 15 is filmed in Berkshire at the Welford Park

The tent where The Great British Bake Off series 15 is filmed, is located next to the Welford Park country house and the the round-tower church. This location has been the same since 2014, but it was changed during COVID.

For series 11, the filming took place in Bishop’s Stortford at the Down Hall Hotel. The episode schedule was also changed as the 12-week filming process was shrunk into six weeks.

To follow the given rules in quarantine, the participating contestants had to follow the restrictions along with their families for a six-week duration. Usually, The Great British Bake Off filming begins in April and continues till the summer ends.

Welford Park was bought by a family back in 1618 but before that, it was used by Henry VIII where he used to practice deer hunting. Before a fixed location was decided, the crew used to relocate each week following the theme of the episodes. This was back in 2010, when series 1 premiered.

For week 1, the cake's theme, the show was filmed in the Cotswolds. Then, weeks 2 and 3 were filmed at Scone Palace, Perthshire, and Sarre Windmill, Kent respectively. By the time Bread Week 4 started, the contestants and crew had to relocate to Bakewell, Derbyshire for the Puddings theme.

The last two weeks for the Pastry and Tea Party were filmed at Mousehole, Cornwall, and Fulham Palace, London respectively.

Stream The Great British Bake Off exclusively on Channel 4. Episodes 1 and 2 are available, the upcoming episode 3, titled Bread Week, will be released on October 8, 2024. Fans can also follow their official Instagram account to stay updated with teasers, upcoming sneak peeks, and episode clips.
