8 moving seasons later, the popular reality TV show and experiment, 60 Days In, has come back for a season 9. The show, like its previous seasons, will put seven civilians from the general population in the prison, undercover. Those then will discover some of the illegal things that go on in the prison to curb them.

Season 9 of the show will premiere live on Thursday, May 30, on A&E, at 9 pm ET. The newest season is to have 115 total episodes and is to take place at the Utah County Jail. Some crimes they will probably cover include drug abuse, gang activity, and contraband smuggling.

The people who cannot catch the episodes on A&E need not worry because the episodes will stream the next day on aetv, and will also be available on Philo, Sling TV, and DirecTV Stream.

If people do not use the traditional cable network, they do not have to worry because the show is available on several platforms, including some free options.

Philo gives its first-time users a free trial to claim by just entering a phone number or an email. After two days, the user would get the option to extend their subscription by a full week, by entering their payment information.

A Philo subscription starts at $25 a month, and its base plan includes access to 70+ TV channels, including networks such as MTV, TLC, Lifetime, Discovery, and Paramount Network, among others. The subscribers to this plan can stream on up to three devices simultaneously and can keep up to 10 profiles on a single Philo account. There is also an option to save unlimited live or future shows, with a memory that lasts one year.

Sling also offers its first-time users a free trial of 30 days. Post which, they would get a 50% discount on their first-month subscription. A Sling TV subscription starts from $40 a month for both Sling Orange and Sling Blue, with an option to combine them for $55 a month. Sling TV's specialty is that it allows one to stream live shows on the go, including sports and live streams such as 60 Days In premiere.

Its base subscription gives access to 32 channels, including ESPN, Motortrend, Disney, etc. Its premium version covers over 45+ channels, including MSNBC, Bravo, NFL, etc. A&E is included in both Sling Blue and Sling Orange, so going with either of these two would give them access to 60 Days In.

Like Philo, users of Sling TV too can stream from up to three devices at the same time. The platform also offers 50 hours of DVR storage.


Details on DirecTV Stream

DirecTV Stream offers a free trial for its new users only for 5 days. The subscription fees for the streaming platform start at $69.99 per month. Their base subscription includes 90+ channels, which doesn't include A&E. To watch 60 Days In, viewers will have to subscribe to DirecTV Stream's 'Choice' subscription, which gives access to 125+ channels, including A&E, and costs $89.99 a month.

Like Philo and Sling TV, DirecTV Stream also lets three devices under the same account stream at the same time. The platform also gives its users unlimited DVR storage, like Philo.
