The American Idol season 22 finale will be released on May 19, on ABC, at 8 pm ET. The show took off on February 18 and has finally made it to its finale after a three-month long run. There were 24 contestants at the start of the show which has reduced down to three finalists, namely, Jack Blocker, Abi Carter, and Will Moseley.

Fans who might miss the show live on ABC can stream the finale through Hulu. They can tune into the streaming platform the next day of the finale's release to watch/rewatch the episode.

Apart from the finale episode, Hulu also keeps the rest of the episodes of the season, in case anyone missed out on some. The streaming platform provides a 30-day free trial for its first-time users; people who haven't yet used it can watch the finale for free.

Hulu's subscription which has ads comes for $7.99 a month, while the one without ads comes for $17.99 per month. The no-ads version also provides a download and watch option. Apart from Jon Bon Jovi serving as the guest mentor, the finale episode will be graced by some of the best-known voices in America. The list includes country singer Cody Johnson and Bishop Briggs who also gave a cameo performance on the show's season 16.

Other guest performers are English singer and guitarist James Bay, the rock band Hootie & the Blow Fish, Beach Avenue singer Nick Fradiani, gospel star CeCe Winans, British singer/songwriter Seal, country singer Wynonna, boy band New Kids on the Block, and Jason Mraz who is a singer/songwriter and guitarist.

The last episode saw the Top 5 contestants battling to secure a place in the finale episode of the show. The theme was Disney Night where they had to perform on songs from the Disney movies. In a close competition, Abi Carter, Jack Blocker, and Will Moseley won, garnering votes enough to make it into the finals; while Emmy Russell and Triston Harper were eliminated in the last round of evictions.

All three finalists have their own unique gift that makes them eligible for the win. While Jack Blocker writes his own songs, Abi Carter is known for her versatility and consistently good performances, and Will Moseley has always remained the fan favorite with his choice of songs in the country genre.
