American TV personality Alexis Skyy is trending on social media after she addressed her support for Donald Trump in a video. She has gained recognition for her appearances on TV shows such as Love & Hip Hop: New York.
Skyy appeared for an interview on Kiss 104.1 FM and a clip of her conversation was posted by The Shade Room on Instagram. She started by saying that she is voting for Trump and added:
“I just feel like when Trump was around, I just like things were different. But people have their opinion on him that Trump could be a little extra but he gets the job done.”
The host responded by asking Skyy whether she gets involved in conversations related to politics with her friends. The latter replied and said:
“All my friends vote for Trump. I feel like the younger generation Trump has along. I’m not gonna lie because just he had it was more money flowing for us.”
Skyy also addressed the reason why people find it hard to go and vote, saying that everyone is too lazy to get up. She stated that voting is important since there is a chance that “the other person could win.”
She even requested the public to vote if they wanted “Trump to win”.
On the other hand, netizens took to the comments section of The Shade Room’s social media post to share their reactions to Skyy’s opinion.
A majority of the users criticized Skyy, with one claiming that she was not aware that the economic situation was better when Barack Obama served as the President of the United States.

As per VH1, the New York City native did not have a normal childhood. She met her father at the age of 18, and she was upset with her mother, who decided to live with him at one point.
Skyy posted a preview of the reality series through her Instagram page during the time she appeared on Love & Hip Hop. However, the post was later deleted.
Notably, she wrote that there is a story that she never told her mother or grandmother, adding that she was “forced into human trafficking” by a person who was 20 years older than her. She continued:
“Every single day.. for 2 months… he would beat on me, threaten to kill me, my family and etc!!! Multiple times he held a loaded gun to my face, abused & r*ped me!! Also forcing me to have s*xual intercourse who would pay!!! It’s so much shyt I’ve been thru as a young girl that nobody knows!!”
She started appearing on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood in 2017 and was featured in two more shows of the same franchise. Back in March last year, Alexis Skyy opened up on her experience of being a part of reality TV and also addressed her exit from Love & Hip Hop. She said:
“It’s been a journey on that show, about four years. I started actually, L.A., New York, Atlanta… I did every city. So I’m kind of just done with that. I just been in this different space in life. So I’ve been low-key, like, away from people and just finding myself.”
Alexis Skyy is the mother of a daughter, Alaiya Grace, who was born from her relationship with rapper Fetty Wap. The duo dated for two years. They separated in 2016.
