The Traitors UK series 3 is an ongoing murder mystery competition in which players are divided into two teams, Faithful and Traitors. The main task for the Faithfuls is to identify which players among them are Traitors and eliminate them from the series.
In the newly released The Traitors UK series 3 episode 9, Charlotte tried to target Minah and get her banished. However, at the round table conference, Minah successfully reassured others that she wasn't a Traitor.
This meant Francesca, aka Frankie, and Leon were now being looked under a microscope as other players became suspicious of them. Frankie received four votes and Leon received five votes, hence he was banished from the house.
The Traitors UK series 3 episode 9 was released exclusively on BBC on Friday, January 17, 2025. Here's the episode synopsis:
"As the drama continues, breakfast proves to be a wake-up call for the Faithful as the Traitors strike again; hoping to add to the prize fund and gain protection from murder, the players question their alliances."
What happened on The Traitors UK series 3 episode 9?
In The Traitors UK series 3 episode 8, Charlotte was given an ultimatum that she had to choose her fate to become a Traitor or get murdered. She decided to re-enter the competition series as a Traitor with a new identity and started rethinking her game strategy. Her main plan in episode 9 was to target Minah and increase suspicions about her fellow cast member.
The Traitors UK contestant wanted Minah to get banished from the house. However, when it was time for the round table conference, Lisa was murdered. This happened after she had revealed that she was an ordained priest.
Many viewers had their doubts about Lisa being a Traitor, but she disclosed herself as a Faithful. Upon her elimination, Lisa reflected on her journey, stating she was grateful for her time on the show. She opened the letter from Traitors, Charlotte and Minah, and read it aloud:
“There may be no second coming from me, but I’ll be seeing them on the other side.”
During a mission in episode 9, the main task for the players was to build mini Easter Island heads with a shield up for grabs. The contestants were successfully able to add a total of £10,000 to the prize pot money, and Freddie earned immunity from getting murdered in the upcoming round table conference.
Towards the end of the episode, it was revealed that Leon received five votes and was banished from the castle. This happened after Leon and Frankie were questioned at the round table and both defended themselves. Then, Minah's name also came up as players opened up about their suspicions regarding her. However, the Traitor reassured everyone that she was a Faithful and wanted them to trust her.
The Traitors UK contestant Minah didn't receive any votes, and Frankie was saved as she got only four votes. As a result, Leon exited the show, saying:
“Guys, I love you all man, and when I say I love you, I mean that proper, from past to present. I’ve loved every minute of it. It’s just my time, man, just the way the cookie crumbles. Don't be afraid to get it wrong, because you’ll never get it right.”
The Traitors UK series 3 air new episodes every week on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday exclusively on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 9 pm.
