Too Hot To Handle season episodes 1 to 4 have already been released exclusively on Netflix on Friday, July 19, 2024, with episode 4 ending on a cliffhanger. The show features new players who are sent to a retreat controlled by an AI virtual assistant, Lana. However, this season, Lana's clone— Bad Lana— lures contestants to take out money from the grand prize of a quarter of a million dollars.
By the end of episode 3, the prize fund money had decreased to $199,000. In episode 4, cast members Bri and Louis were sent to the banishment quarters after their partners Demari and Katherine went on a date respectively. This date was arranged by Lana who introduced two new guests to the retreat— Valentina and Cristian.
Lana revealed that Bri and Louis were banished from the retreat until Demari and Katherine returned from their date. The synopsis of Too Hot To Handle season 6 episode 4 titled Clock Blocked, reads as the following:

On Too Hot To Handle season 6 episode 4, Katherine realized that she was having a good time with Cristian. However, she still had Louis on her mind as she wanted to see where their emotional connection led. During her confessional interview, the reality TV contestant admitted that Cristian was putting in a genuine effort to get to know her, unlike Louis, with whom she only had physical chemistry. Katherine said:
"I can’t believe how much he is focusing on getting to know me."
Meanwhile, Demari tried his best not to break any rules after meeting Valentina. He had no intentions of hurting Bri but Valentina was exactly his type and someone who he would want to date in the real world. Unfortunately, Demari failed the loyalty test after Valentina suggested he should kiss her. The Too Hot to Handle cast member told the cameras:
"It's gonna be hard for me to stay focused but I'm gonna try and we'll see how that goes. Valentina is literally everything that I on paper would want. I do have Bri in my mind, but this is gonna be a huge test for me."
After the "temptation timer" ended in the Too Hot to Handle episode, Lana gave Katherine and Demari a choice to either continue their date for 35 minutes or go back to the retreat. Both the costars agreed to continue as they wanted to get to know their dates better. Then Lana revealed that Bri and Louis' arrival into the retreat was in Katherine and Demari's hands.
Katherine didn't want Louis to stay longer in the banishment quarters so she asked Lana to release him. Demari on the other hand wanted more time to decide whether he wanted to face Bri after his date with Valentina. When Bri got to know Demari chose Valentina over her, she confronted him.
