The Voice season 26 has given talented individuals and artists a platform to showcase their skills. In this singing reality TV competition series, judges choose their favorite performances based on a blind audition and press the button to turn their chairs. If multiple chairs are turned, the audition contestant selects a mentor of their choice.

One of the participants this season, who appeared in episode 5 was Camryn Brooks. This isn't the first time Camryn has appeared on the NBC show, she previously appeared in season 21, where she didn't receive any chair turns. Fast forward to season 26, Camryn's audition impressed all judges who gave her a four-chair turn.

Out of the four mentors, Camryn chooses Stefani as her coach for the next round. The Voice judge Stefani was excited to work with Camryn and was glad she could help her find her voice and practice which songs go along with her tone.

After her performance ended, Camryn Brooks told the judges she had previously auditioned in season 21 but didn't get any chair turns. This time, when she appeared on season 26, Camryn shared it was a "dream come true" for her to be selected for the NBC singing competition series. She excitedly mentioned:

“I’m literally crying right now because this is like, absolutely unreal. I was a contestant on season 21 and I didn’t get any chair turns. I didn’t ever envision I was going to get four so this is literally a dream come true.”

The Voice season 26 contestant received praise from all judges who appreciated her appearing on the show once again and not giving up on her dream. Snoop was impressed after knowing Camryn had auditioned for the show before. He welcomed her back, stating her tone, composure, and stage presence were captivating, which are considered qualities of a superstar.

Snoop continued:

“Your voice, your tone, your composure, your stage presence — all that’s very important. And then to find out that you were here before and you came back! We say it all the time; we try to say the right words to make people feel comfortable with coming back — you’re the perfect example of that.”

On the other hand, Stefani told The Voice contestant that her voice and singing ability brought back nostalgia from the 70's. She said that Camryn's voice was soothing, warm, and emotional, and she would love to work with her to help her define, who she is as a singer. Stefani further said:

“There are so many singers that are good. But there’s certain ones that just touch you because of their tone, or just little ‘taste’ things that they do — or, they might remind you of the ‘70s and the singer-songwriters you grew up with. And that’s what I was feeling from you. It would be really fun to work with you ‘cause I feel like we could pick some really cool songs and define who you are.”

Stream The Voice season 26 exclusively on NBC every week on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET and the next day on Peacock TV.
