Dancing with the Stars season 33 kicked off with 13 celebrity contestants and their professional partners competing for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy. Each week, these duos perform on the dance floor, showcasing their rehearsed skills to a panel of judges.

The audience then votes for their favorites. Fans are eagerly anticipating who will make it to the final stage of Dancing with the Stars. So far, the show has seen four eliminations: Reginald VelJohnson, Eric Roberts, Tory Spelling, and Anna Delvey.

Dancing with the Stars season 33 eliminations: Details explored

Reginald VelJohnson & Emma Slater (Week 3)

Reginald VelJohnson, known for his role as LAPD Sergeant Al Powell in Die Hard, was paired with professional dancer Emma Slater. Despite their strong efforts, they were eliminated in the third week during a double elimination.

After scoring 21 out of 40 for both the Foxtrot and Cha-Cha-Cha, their combined scores placed them last on the judges' leaderboard. When the viewer votes were tallied, VelJohnson and Slater were sent home, alongside fellow contestant Eric Roberts.

Eric Roberts & Britt Stewart (Week 3)

Eric Roberts, an Oscar-nominated actor and father of Emma Roberts, entered the competition with Britt Stewart as his partner. Although his 'Soul Train' performance earned a solid 24 out of 40, his "Hair Metal" routine slipped to 22 out of 40.

The judges’ scores and viewer votes ultimately led to his elimination during the same double elimination as Reginald VelJohnson, placing them both tied for 10th place.

Tori Spelling & Pasha Pashkov (Week 2)

Tori Spelling, best known for her role as Donna Martin on Beverly Hills, 90210, competed alongside Pasha Pashkov. In the first two weeks, they performed a Foxtrot and a Rumba, scoring 17 and 19, respectively.

Despite showing improvement, their overall score placed them in 10th place. When viewer votes were factored in, Spelling and Pashkov were eliminated in a week 2 double elimination, along with Anna Delvey.

Anna Delvey & Ezra Sosa (Week 2)

Anna Delvey, a con artist whose life story inspired the Netflix series Inventing Anna, paired up with Ezra Sosa. Delvey's performances in the first two weeks garnered scores of 18 and 17 out of 30 for her Cha-cha-cha and Quickstep, respectively.

Unfortunately, her second-week performance didn’t meet expectations, dropping her in the rankings. Combined with low viewer votes, she was sent home alongside Tori Spelling during the week 2 eliminations.

Oscar Night recap: Week 2

On Dancing with the Stars' "Oscars Night," the competition heated up with a mix of dazzling performances and a double elimination. Chandler Kinney shone the brightest, topping the leaderboard with her rumba, while Dwight Howard and Joey Graziadei also impressed the judges and audiences.

Danny Amendola, Stephen Nedoroscik, and Phaedra Parks delivered strong routines, solidifying their positions. However, the night ended in heartbreak for Anna Delvey and Tori Spelling, who were both eliminated. Reginald VelJohnson narrowly avoided elimination, continuing his journey despite landing in the bottom three.

Hair Metal Night recap: Week 3

On Dancing with the Stars' "Hair Metal Night" (October 8, 2024), the competition heated up with energetic performances inspired by rock anthems. KISS co-founder Gene Simmons joined the judges. Notable performances included Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson’s Tango, which topped the leaderboard with near-perfect scores.

Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong also impressed with a lively Jive, despite some stamina issues. While some couples shone, others struggled—Reginald VelJohnson and Eric Roberts both faced difficulties with timing and technique, leading to their elimination at the end of the night.

The competition heats up in the upcoming episode, titled Dedication Night, which will air on October 15, 2024. Fans can catch Dancing with the Stars every Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+ as the remaining duos vie for the Mirrorball Trophy.
