Shark Tank season 16 episode 7 aired on December 13, 2024, on ABC. Out of the four companies that were featured in episode three secured deals.
Clothing brands Coordinates and Wildcoat managed to grab Robert Herjavec's attention and closed a deal with the O.G. shark. Meanwhile, Mark Cuban made a deal with a venture named Snow Scholars that hired college students to clear snow.
Besides the two sharks Lori Greiner, Kevin O'Leary, and Daymond John returned to the panel to evaluate and offer some advice to the four innovative ideas pitched in the episode.
Three companies secured deals on Shark Tank season 16 episode 7
Coordinates (Deal - Robert Herjavec)
Sanya Richards-Ross and Aaron Ross kicked off the Shark Tank season 16 episode 7 with their matching family clothing brand Coordinates. The co-founding couple entered along with their family dressed in Christmas-themed outfits that matched.
"Now sharks, as athletes with our own unique style, swag, and flair, we always knew: when you look good, you play good! So, if we wanted to continue winning as a family, we needed to... Coordinate!" the co-founders pitched.
The matching pajamas and loungewear brand, Coordinates, introduced a "Team USA collection" ahead of the Olympics returning to the US. The founders pitched their business on Shark Tank, seeking $100,000 for 10% equity. Shark Robert, who had previously invested in a similar company, Tipsy Elves, offered $100,000 for 25%.
Daymond expressed interest in the venture after the co-founders countered Robert's offer with a 20% stake. However, Sanya and Aaron ultimately found Robert to be the most valuable partner for their business and closed the deal with him.
Gnome Advent Calendar (No Deal)
Next up was Gnome Advent Calendar's founder, Jenna Hess who sought to bring the "magic of the holiday season to life in a whole new way". The Gnome Advent calendar came with a specific number of Gnomes (according to the holiday) that could be opened once every day as a countdown to a holiday.
"Our beautiful Advent calendars open up a magical portal revealing a gnome-filled world. Each day unveils a unique gnome bringing joy and excitement to kids and adults alike. These gnomes are handcrafted with intricate detail and made from high-quality fabrics," Jenna pitched.
The Gnome Advent Calendar's designs were inspired by Scandinavian folklore and offered packages for different holidays including Christmas, Easter, Valentine, and Halloween.
The Shark Tank contestant sought $45,000 in exchange for 10% of her company. While the sharks were impressed by the product, sales, and pricing, they felt there wasn't much more they could offer, leading them to decline and take their exit.
Snow Scholars (Deal - Mark Cuban)
Snow Scholars founders Jake Piekarski and Philip Loveland stood before Sharks to present a business that was "designed to be a perfect side hustle for college students."
"I think it's safe to say that nobody wants to open their front door in the morning and see a pile of snow on their driveway. It's both frustrating and time-consuming having to remove all that snow... But college students have lots of free time... Snow Scholars is a snow-removal business that employs college students," they pitched.
Jake Piekarski and Philip sought $75K for a 10% stake in their company. Shark Kevin saw the potential and offered $75,000 for 20% shares. Mark decided to double the original ask and offered $150,000 for 20%. The co-founders were satisfied with the offer and immediately made the deal.
Wildcoat (Deal - Robert Herjavec)
Carlo from Boulder made the final pitch of Shark Tank season 16 episode 7 and presented his winter coat brand, Wildcoat. The company aimed to drop the dull and "boring" winter coats with their animal-themed coats that were stylish and functional at the same time.
The Shark Tank contestant sought a $350,000 investment in return for 10% equity in his company. After several offers and counters, the founder shook hands with Robert for $350,000 in exchange for 23% equity.
Shark Tank season 16 episodes air every Friday on ABC.
