Love is Blind: Brazil season 4 introduced viewers to new faces, with some major twists in store. One of the couples who got engaged on Love is Blind: Brazil season 4 episode 2 was Patrick Ribeiro and Marilia Pinheiro. Despite the two being in an unexpected love triangle, Patrick chose Marilia as he could feel a strong connection to her.
In this edition, participants in the social experiment were given a second chance at love. These contestants have previously been in a long-term relationship or were divorced. Following a similar format to the Love is Blind franchise, each couple establishes an emotional connection in the pods and will come face to face after they get engaged.

Patrick Ribeiro and Marilia Pinheiro got engaged on Love is Blind: Brazil season 4 episode 2
On Love is Blind: Brazil season 4 episode 2, Patrick Ribeiro realized that Marilia Pinheiro and Renata Giaffredo weren't the same person. He apologized to both of them repeatedly, insisting that it was an honest mistake.
As both women had similar voices and belonged to the same neighborhood, Patrick got them mixed up. Addressing his mistake, the traffic manager told his co-star:
"I so totally f*cked this up, man! I just made the biggest mistake, like, ever. I got two girls mixed up and promised one of them I wanted to commit to her but I thought she was the other one. I thought they were the same person. I didn't know there were two of them."
At first, Marilia was suspicious that Patrick was making excuses but she realized he was genuinely mistaken. During their time in the pods, the two love birds talked about finances, and children and established a connection with one another. They also exchanged gifts in the pods.
In his confessional interview, Patrick shared that he felt like he was a teenager in love. Meanwhile, Marilia was also sure that she had found her love match on Love is Blind: Brazil. They handled the love triangle situation maturely, as Patrick also didn't want to lead someone on.
Patrick shared that he was 100% sure about marrying Marilia as the two had a lot of things in common. He told the cameras that Marilia is someone who will help him "evolve and grow" as a person.
"To say I'm one hundred percent sure isn't enough. I'm a million percent sure in my heart that she's the one for me," he said.
Meanwhile, his partner's "heart was so full" that she could see a future with him.
Later in the episode, Patrick asked Marilia Pinheiro to marry him, to which she said yes. They then got out of the pods and embraced each other with a warm hug.
