The Voice season 26 has introduced viewers to participants who have talent and can showcase the art of storytelling through their vocal abilities. In this singing competition series, artists head to different stages including Blind auditions, Battles, Knockouts, Playoff rounds, and Live shows.
One of the artists who performed throughout this season, Jeremy Beloate made it to the Top 5 with his hard work. The Memphis, Tennessee native went to New York to achieve his dreams. During his blind audition, he revealed that his mom was his biggest supporter, he also opened up about his father and brother's passing from addiction.
Since then he has performed, Giveon's Heartbreak Anniversary, Golden Hour by Jvke, The Impossible Dream (The Quest), and I (Who Have Nothing) as well as Every Breath You Take by The Police. On The Voice season 26 episode 3, Jeremy performed on stage in hopes of getting through the blind auditions. He shared that she had been watching reality TV shows since he was a kid and dreamed of being in the spotlight one time. While opening up about his father and brother's passing, Jeremy sang Giveon's Heartbreak Anniversary for them.
After his soulful and emotional performance ended, all four The Voice coaches turned their chairs towards him. The mentors as well as the audience were teary-eyed at the song choice and Jeremy's powerful vocals. Reba stated she couldn't help but turn her chair even though it was not her "wheelhouse." She said:
"I was waiting and I was waiting and I was thinking this is not my wheelhouse, but oh my gosh, I love your voice. Your range, it was just incredible with great feeling and emotion. So I had to turn around and see what goes with this beautiful voice."
Meanwhile, Michael stated Jeremy had been given a "tremendous gift." He continued:
"You have a tremendous gift. I feel like you could do anything."
Later in the Battles round, Jeremy performed Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars. For the Knockouts, Jeremy sang Golden Hour by Jvke after which Snoop Dogg stole him from Team Buble. Since then, Jeremy has been part of Team Snoop, so far he has performed The Impossible Dream (The Quest) and I (Who Have Nothing) in the Playoffs and Live Shows respectively.
He then, teamed up with guest mentor Sting to showcase his singing abilities by performing Every Breath You Take by The Police. The Voice contestant's journey has been a roller coaster of emotions as he impressed the audience alongside the judges.
