The newly released episode 6 revealed a four-chair turn and an ovation from the audience for a Puerto Rican artist named Jose Luis. The contestant sang Olivia Rodrigo's traitor and impressed the judges with his powerful vocal strength and stage presence.

In the latest segment, the judges competed to fill the remaining spots on their team and all of them wanted Luis to choose them as a mentor. However, by the end of his performance, Luis chose Stefani as his mentor. He shared that he saw himself "reflected" in Gwen. The influence of fashion and pop in her music led to him selecting her as his coach.

Jose Luis' soulful performance of Olivia Rodrigo's traitor made all four judges turn their chairs. As soon as they saw Jose, The Voice audience started cheering on him. After the performance ended, Jose mentioned he wanted to be an artist similar to Lady Gaga, who has a strong stage presence.
He also shared how his music is impacted by his interest in fashion and pop culture in Puerto Rico. Luis talked about his dreams of becoming a well-renowned artist known for his originality and authenticity and embracing his love for fashion and pop music.
Meanwhile, Snoop complimented Jose on his vocal ability:
