Parker Schnabel returned for Gold Rush season 15, continuing his quest for gold alongside the rest of the cast. Over his tenure, Parker has honed a sharp eye for mining opportunities, demonstrating exceptional leadership in guiding his team to maximize gold extraction while ensuring efficiency and profitability.

The Gold Rush star was born on July 22, 1994, in Haines, Alaska, USA, making him 29 years old at the time of writing. Mining helped Parker achieve great career success and enabled him to gather a net worth of $8 million, as per Celebrity Net Worth.

Fans can follow Parker on Instagram @goldrushparker which has over 600K followers. He primarily uses social media to share behind-the-scenes glimpses of his mining career, along with moments from his personal life with friends and family.

Gold Rush star Parker Schnabel mined a total of over 13 million dollars worth of gold by the age of 24

Parker Schnabel grew up in a family with a rich mining heritage, and his mining career started at the age of 5 on his Grandpa John's Big Nugget Mine. By 18, he moved out of his house to Klondike, and by the age of 24, he was able to mine a total of over 13 million dollars worth of gold.

Besides the mining wealth, Parker also earns a substantial income from his various TV appearances on Gold Rush and his spinoff series, Parker's Trail. His passion for gold took him to different parts of the world including Guyana in South America, Papua New Guinea, and Australia.

In an interview with People, published on November 8, 2024, the Gold Rush star expressed his desire to start a family someday.

“I do hope to have a family and a life outside of TV eventually. I do have a life outside of TV, but the show will end completely I think before I have kids, I would suspect,” he shared.

Parker, however, added that he had no intention of passing his gold mining legacy onto his children unless they wanted to pursue the career. He explained that his own parents never pressured him into any specific career path.

His dad ran a construction company and the Gold Rush star emphasized that there was "zero pressure" involved in what he would consider the family business.

Although his grandfather dabbled in gold mining, it was merely a hobby. Most years, the family mined only about 100 ounces of gold, which Parker described as a "money-losing venture for 20 years."

“I think it actually really bugged my dad that it was not an economically viable business that I was involved in as a teenager, but he never said anything. He just wanted me to be happy. That's the best thing you can do for a kid, in my opinion,” he continued.

Parker, now in his 30s, shared that he wasn't sure what the future held for him. However, he wasn't scared about it and looked "forward to the next chapter" of his life. He remained hopeful for a better future, to the point where he never wanted to reach a stage in life where he longed for his younger days.

“My dad and I just started another business and he's 69. He's living his best life. My grandpa didn't start gold mining until he was 65 or something. So I'm just like, man, age is absolutely just a number,” he continued.
