Shark Tank season 16 premiered exclusively on ABC on October 18, 2024, introducing viewers to this season's sharks. The series was adapted from the British show Dragons' Den, where young entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to receive investment and mentorship from the sharks.
If a shark likes the pitch, the entrepreneurs negotiate, give counter offers, and seal the deal with either one of the judges or more. The show's synopsis states:
"Aspiring entrepreneurs from around the world pitch their business models to a panel of investors and persuade them to invest money in their idea."
The Sharks this season include Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Daymond John, Kevin O'Leary, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, and Daniel Lubetzky.

1) Mark Cuban
Shark Tank judge Mark Cuban has been married to his wife, Tiffany Stweart, since 2002. During an interview with Forbes in 2000, Mark shared that he met his wife in 1997, who used to work at an advertising agency. Mark has three kids with Tiffany: Alexis Sofia, Alyssa, and Jake.
2) Barbara Corcoran
Barbara Corcoran is married to FBI agent Bill Higgins, who also has a background in the Navy. The two met in 1981 and started their family in 1993 by welcoming their son Tom and their daughter Kate in 2005. The Shark Tank judge took to her Instagram account in 2020 and wrote words of appreciation for her better half, stating he is a "rock solid guy, a close friend, and a great father to our children.”
3) Daymond John
Daymond is married to Heather Taras. He proposed to Heather during one of the Shark Tank 2016 episodes; however, it never made it to the final cut. They married in 2018 in a church in Queens, New York. Before the wedding, the couple had also welcomed their daughter Minka Jagger to the family in 2016. Apart from Minka, Daymond has two daughters, Yasmeen and Destiny, who he shares with his ex-partner.
4) Kevin O'Leary
Kevin married Linda O'Leary back in March 1990. The shark shared that he had a very intimate wedding with their close friends and family. During a conversation with CNBC Make It in 2018, Kevin shared he "saved a fortune" by not spending money on a lavish wedding. The couple has two children: their daughter Savannah and their son Trevor.
5) Lori Greiner
Lori has been married to her husband, Dan Greiner, and has kept her personal life away from the public. Dan supported Lori and encouraged her entrepreneurial journey; as of now, he is the owner, CFO, COO, and founder of Lori Greiner Companies.
6) Robert Herjavec
Shark Tank judge Robert Herjavec met his wife, Kym Johnson, on season 20 of Dancing with the Stars. As dance partners, the two developed a friendship and then started a romantic relationship. The two married in 2016 after getting engaged and expanded their family in 2018 by welcoming their children, Haven Mae and Hudson Robert.
7) Daniel Lubetzky
The new shark in season 16, Daniel, is married to Michelle Lynn Liebermann, who he tied the knot with in 2008. Daniel's wife is a physician and met the investor when finishing her residency at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital. The couple have four children.
