Among the Top 5 finalists was 16-year-old Sydney Sterlace from West Seneca, New York, who earned a four-chair turn. Known for her unique style and captivating performances, Sydney began singing as a child and participated in local competitions before joining the show.

The Voice season 26 contestant performed Olivia Rodrigo's hit single Driver's License and received standing applause from the audience as well as the coaches in the blind auditions.
Reba praised Sydney for having a sense of "maturity" in her voice and showing her singing skills that come right from the heart. She said:
"You've got a maturity to your inner self that comes out from your heart, your soul, and we felt it. I'm just so thrilled that you came on this show and we're all here to help, so welcome to The Voice. I'd love to have you on my team."
Snoop praised Sydney's "captivating" voice, expressing how moved he was by her performance and predicting a bright future for her.
"You captivated me like I was in church. The way you just held control of the audience. You made me move, you made me get up. I didn't even let you finish, I'm sorry. I haven't heard anybody that sounds as good as you. You have a beautiful spirit [and] I would love to Coach you."
Meanwhile, Stefani complimented Sydney on her "dynamic" voice and ability to add emotion to the lyrics. She said:
"I had to go with Sydney. The fact that she’s 15 and she can take care of the lyrics and she’s so dynamic, when she’s on it’s amazing, and she really did grow from rehearsals.”
On The Voice season 26 battle round, Sydney performed Birds of a Feather by Billie Eilish alongside Sloane Simon from Team Gwen. Later in the Knockouts, she covered Bruises by Lewis Capaldi. Snoop was so impressed by her singing skills and talent he predicted Sydney had the potential to win the show.
Next up were the playoffs in which Sydney sang Taylor Swift’s Betty and When The Party's Over by Billie Eilish in the Live Shows. New episodes of The Voice season 26 air every week on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c exclusively on NBC and the next day on Peacock.
