How Jake and Leanne secured their victory?

The final episodes of The Traitors UK Season 3 showcased high-stakes decision-making as contestants attempted to uncover the remaining traitor. Charlotte Berman, the last traitor, faced challenges maintaining her deception, especially after Francesca Rowan-Plowden used the "Seer" twist to reveal Charlotte’s role in the game.

During The Traitors UK final roundtable, Charlotte's attempts to convince the group of her innocence were unsuccessful. With a 4-to-1 vote, the faithful contestants banished her, ensuring only faithful players remained in the game. The final decision rested with Jake, Leanne, and the others, who chose to continue the banishment process until all traitors were eliminated.

In the final showdown, Alexander Dragonetti and Francesca Rowan-Plowden were also banished, leaving Jake and Leanne as the last standing faithful contestants. With no traitors left, they secured the prize fund of £94,600, marking their victory.

Leanne Quigley's pre-final thoughts

Leanne Quigley, one of The Traitors UK's two winners, is a 28-year-old Veteran from Holywell North Wales. She shared her reflections on the competition during a pre-finale interview with BBC, published January 24, 2025. She explained her feelings about reaching the final stages of the game, stating:

“Completely overwhelmed and it was so unexpected. I’m proud of myself that I haven’t slipped up on my job situation just yet and I’m just happy to be here!”

Leanne described the emotional challenges of the competition and how her perspective evolved over time. She stated how she "felt a little bit out of my depth because there's so many huge personalities." However, she eventually focused on making her survival strategy.

Reflecting on the significance of winning, Leanne highlighted her personal motivations:

“It gives us another chance to have another baby and expand our family. It’s something for my little boys to look back at in a couple of years and think, wow, my mum did that.”

Jake Brown's pre-final reflections

Jake Brown, a 28-year-old project manager from Barrow-in-Furness, who shared the victory with Leanne, also spoke about his experience in the competition. In his pre-finale interview, Jake expressed gratitude for making it to the final stages, stating:

“I feel very blessed and lucky to be here. I’ve met so many wonderful people on this journey from all different walks of life and I’ve loved every minute.”

Jake emphasized the importance of representing his community and how his participation held personal meaning:

“One of the big reasons I came on the show was to represent the Cerebral Palsy and disability community, showing that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Also to be able to give something back to my wife and my family as they’ve always been my biggest supporters and given me confidence in myself.”

Reflecting on The Traitors UK, Jake shared his strategic approach and the key moments that defined his journey:

“It helps when you spot a Traitor early on. I knew I needed luck, but a lot of it is building friendships and relationships and there is also a bit of skill involved, finding Traitors and being good at Missions - but I didn’t expect to get this far so I’m pretty lucky."
