Big Brother 26 episode 34 was delayed as CBS decided to premiere its latest reality show, The Summit, during that slot. The popular reality show will showcase what the remaining houseguests are up to on Sunday, September 30 at 10:30 pm ET instead. Julie Chen Moonves is the host of Big Brother for season 26 where the houseguests remain under the surveillance of cameras 24/7.

This is not the first time that a Big Brother episode has been delayed as the network often adjusts for live programming like sporting events and other special occasions. The hour-and-a-half delay meant that the episode which was supposed to air at 9:00 pm ET instead aired at 10:30 pm ET, 10:00 PT, and 9:30 pm CT on CBS and Paramount+ the next day.

The five houseguests currently remaining in the house are Cam Sullivan-Brown, Chelsie Baham, Kimo Apaka, Makensy Manbeck, and Rubina Bernabe, who are all hoping to win $750,000.

What were the latest updates from the week 11 live feed of Big Brother 26?

The live updates of Big Brother 26 week 11 focused on Chelsie and Makensy talking to other houseguests to discuss where the alliances lay. As the Head of Household (HoH) was still to be nominated, Chelsie told Makensy that Cam should hire a resume builder as during the entire season the latter had failed to win any HoH or Power of Veto competitions.

Chelsie later suggested that if Cam reaches the final two, the jurors would look at him favorably as he doesn't have "blood on his hands". Chelsie claimed she had saved Cam until now because he was her friend and if Cam's name was to come up in nominations, he wouldn't have survived. In the end, the pair decided to vote out Kimo and Rubina, with Kimo being the main target.

Afterward, Chelsie had a conversation with Cam and suggested kicking out Makensy in case either of them became the HoH. Makensy later won HoH and nominated Rubina and Kimo. Rubina sat down with Makensy and told her that in the past week, Chelsie had asked Rubina to vote out Makensy before the double eviction.

On Saturday's live feeds of Big Brother, Chelsie and Makensy continued to converse about whether to nominate Cam. Chelsie suggested that Rubina would also try and keep Cam as her path would become easier. Chelsie further suggested that she was tired of carrying Cam through the game.

Rubina and Kimo were hanging out in the kitchen and Rubina suggested that she wanted to seek therapy after the show as some of the houseguests had made her feel bad about herself. The pair also discussed Cam's poor competition performances and how he should be the one on the chopping block.

Before Cam went to bed on Big Brother, Chelsie had a conversation with him in the storage and told him about Makensy's plan to re-nominate Cam as he performed poorly in the competition. Cam suggests that he wasn't worried about it as nominating him would be a terrible idea.

Chelsie later promised Cam that she would talk to Makensy and try to convince her not to nominate Cam. This prompted Cam to ask Chelsie why Makensy was not upset at Chelsie as she lost the competition as well. Chelsie states that since she was closer to winning than Cam, she was safe.

What is CBS' The Summit all about?

CBS released another reality show on September 29, 2024, where 16 contestants will be vying for their share of the $1 million prize money in the New Zealand Alps. The show will test the mountaineering and survival skills of the contestants, from which some do not have any previous climbing experience.

According to the press release of the show, the cast must work together for 14 days to fight against "the dangerous terrain, unforgiving Antarctic winds, heart-pounding challenges, and gut-wrenching eliminations" to stay in the game and reach the peak of the mountain.

The cast will also be followed by the Mountain's Keeper who is not present to help the cast members, rather they would introduce brutal twists and force the cast to make decisions that would complicate their journey. Another interesting twist in the show is that if the group fails to reach The Summit in the given time, nobody will be able to take the money home.
