Fans of The Bachelorette were looking forward to Jenn Tran's appearance in the season 21 finale, but they will have to wait one more day to see the dramatic ending. The reason is Labor Day, a federal holiday in the United States, tonight, Monday, September 2.
Because of the holiday, the finale will now air on Tuesday, September 3, at 8 p.m. instead of Monday, September 2. Jenn Tran has to choose between the last two suitors, Marcus and Devin.
Instead of The Bachelorette, ABC filled the Monday night slot with three back-to-back episodes of season 10 of Celebrity Family Feud, starting at 8 p.m.
What to expect from the finale of The Bachelorette Season 21
The three-hour season finale of The Bachelorette will be one of the most exciting endings in recent years. Now that Jenn Tran's trip to Hawaii is over, she has to choose between her last two suitors: Marcus, a 32-year-old Army Ranger veteran from Raleigh, North Carolina, and Devin, a 28-year-old freight company owner from Houston, Texas.
Throughout The Bachelorette season 21, both men have made strong impressions on Jenn. Each has brought something different to the table that has won her heart. Marcus's military background and calm personality make him very different from Devin, who is more outgoing and likes to take risks.
Jenn, who is 26 years old and lives in Miami, Florida, where she is studying to become a physician assistant, has been struggling with her feelings and asking her friends and family for help. During this critical week, she will have to deal with her emotions and think about the future she could have with either Marcus or Devin.
The journey to the finale in The Bachelorette season 21
The road to the finale has been full of feelings and turns. Last week, the Fantasy Suites and the Men Tell All special were two important episodes. In Episode 8, Jenn went on romantic trips to Hawaii with Devin, Marcus, and Jonathan, who were her top three candidates.
Before going on these important dates, Jenn talked to Molly Mesnick, who used to be on The Bachelor. Her advice helped her make up her mind as she got closer to making her final choice. Jenn's path wasn't easy, though. She had to make tough decisions like sending Jonathan home, which left Devin and Marcus.
The finale of The Bachelorette with Jesse Palmer
There will also be an 'After the Final Rose' segment on the finale. Jenn will watch the final dates with host Jesse Palmer and then make her decision live in front of the studio audience.
To make things even more interesting, ABC recently announced that Grant Ellis, a contestant from Jenn's season, which kicked off on August 12, will be the next lead on The Bachelor. Fans look forward to seeing how Jenn's story ends and what comes next for the popular franchise.
The dramatic finale of The Bachelorette will air on ABC on September 3 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CST, or you can live stream it on fuboTV and DirecTV Stream.
