Recently, RHOC star Shannon Beador opened up about her ex, John Janssen, and revealed what John thought about the Real Housewives of Orange County stars.

Shannon took to the Scheananigans with Scheana Shay's podcast to share how John Janssen wanted her to dress and what type of hair she should have. While revealing these details, she also revealed how she was surprised after learning that John started to date Alexis Bellino, a fellow housewife from the show.

The recent episode of Scheananigans with Scheana Shay's podcast from Friday, August 16, 2024, featured Shannon Beador from the Real Housewives of Orange County as the guest.

When Scheana asked Shannon about Alexis and John, Shannon shared that she was surprised after learning about their relationship. She added that she didn’t know that Alexis was “that type of woman” whom John would go on rebounding.

Mentioning the time Shannon and John were together, she revealed how John used to tell her about having an “age-appropriate” haircut, which was before her breakup with John.

"Right before we broke up, I was in New York doing press, and he’s like, ‘You really should cut your hair, so it’s more age appropriate. Like, if you have really long hair with extensions, it looks phony," Shannon shared.

According to Shannon, John also had opinions about the rest of the RHOC cast members. Shedding more light on that, she revealed that, as per John, the RHOC stars dressed “provocatively” and that they should “cover up” and be conservative.

"And then [John] would say, like, 'They really should cover up and be conservative.' Who made John the fashion police?" Shannon revealed.

Shannon Beador also shared on the podcast that, even though she dated John and had an on-again, off-again relationship with him from 2019 to 2023, she now feels as if she doesn’t "even know" him.

The podcast’s August 16 episode’s synopsis reads:

John's response to Shannon Beador's comments

Later, when John Janssen learned about Shannon’s latest comments, he shared his side via Page Six. He responded that Shannon may have asked him for feedback on her clothes and hairstyles.

"Although Shannon may have occasionally asked for my feedback and opinion on her own hairstyles and clothing options, I never commented on how the other women dressed or styled their hair," revealed John.

Adding more about the RHOC stars’ views of Alexis, John said he felt sad after seeing Shannon " resort to attacks" on Alexis' appearance.

For the uninitiated, John Janssen and Alexis Bellino started dating around November 2023, a year after his split from RHOC star Shannon Beador.

According to Shannon, they got back together for a brief period around September 2023. At the time, Shannon went through some hardships as she got arrested for a hit-and-run and a DUI. After that, Beador and Janssen ended things, and they confirmed their split.
