"Why are you lying?" — Love Never Lies: South Africa star Lynn confronts Kuda after the lie detector exposes his lie

Love Never Lies: South Africa released episodes 1-6 on Friday, November 29, 2024. Six couples participated in the social experiment to resolve their ongoing disputes. One such pair was Lynn and Kuda, who wanted to strengthen their bond and build a future together. However, they locked horns in episode 2 when the lie detector revealed that Kuda had been physically intimate with other women.

In episode 2, when the lie detector asked Kuda if he had been intimate with anyone during his weekend getaway, he replied no. However, the test revealed that he was lying. Although Kuda defended himself by saying he had been flirtatious, not physical, Lynn remained unconvinced.

"Why are you lying? How long are you gonna keep this up for? Like, where is this taking you? What are we doing here?" Lynn asked.

Despite Kuda's explanations, the Love Never Lies: South Africa star refused to believe him. After a point, Kuda got frustrated and gave up. Consequently, their conversation turned into a heated argument that ended without a proper resolution.

"It was almost intimate" — Love Never Lies: South Africa star Kuda tries to defend himself

During their introduction at the show's premiere, Lynn and Kuda revealed they had been dating on and off for seven years. Despite knowing each other for a long time, the couple had multiple issues that needed immediate resolution. Since they planned to marry soon, they wanted to put their conflicts behind them.

However, the road to reconciliation came with its own challenges. In episode 2, Temptation Walks In, Lynn and Kuda sat before the lie detector to see if they had answered its questions truthfully.

The test asked Kuda if he had been physically intimate with other women during his weekend getaway to which the Love Never Lies: South Africa star replied no. However, the lie detector revealed otherwise, exposing Kuda's lies. Lynn was disappointed to learn about her partner's unfaithfulness. Although Lynn said she felt "stupid," she admitted that she had suspected it earlier.

Kuda tried to defend himself by saying that the question was framed incorrectly. He explained that he had not been physically intimate with anyone, but only danced and "passed out on the same bed" after playing some drinking games. The Love Never Lies: South Africa star added that there was no "s*x that night."

"Yeah, but the whole weekend, there was only one night with — It was almost intimate," he said.

When Minnie asked Kuda to explain what "almost intimate" meant, the Love Never Lies: South Africa star said that he was challenged to do "s*xual positions" as part of the game. While he stressed the innocence of his actions, Lynn refused to agree.

She expressed that men in committed relationships should not be dancing with other women or spinning "no godd*mn bottle" in the first place. Lynn was convinced Kuda had issues.

After the ceremony, they returned to the villa and reflected on the truths revealed. Lynn confided in the other female cast members that Kuda had called her "crazy" for thinking he had done anything during the getaway. However, after discovering the truth, she expected him to take accountability.

When Lynn repeatedly dismissed his explanations, Kuda said:

"If you don't believe my reasoning, that's not my problem. I've never kissed this girl. I've never had s*x with her."

Lynn believed there was one woman in particular with whom Kuda interacted. However, he refused to accept the accusation. The Love Never Lies: South Africa star went to bed, while Lynn blamed him for invalidating her feelings.
