Love Is Blind season 7 premiered on October 2, 2024, and the six newly released episodes showcased the journey of the couples from the pods to their honeymoon. Episode 6 started with a major update on where Garrett and Taylor stood in their relationship, after spending time together in person. Garrett shared that he was content and satisfied that Taylor was part of his life.
Referring to a hypothetical scenario, Garrett admitted that he might not have pursued a romantic connection with Taylor in the real world, as she is "too good for him." The Love Is Blind contestants also discussed their future plans and how they would make the relationship work amid their "high-intensity lives."
The 33-year-old Quantum physicist reassured Taylor that he was willing to change his life for her, saying:
"Right now, I can say one hundred percent I feel, yes, like I'm willing and ready to change my life for you."

Garrett opens up to Taylor on Love is Blind season 7 episode 6
In Love Is Blind season 7 episode 6, Garrett admitted to Taylor that he was sure of the connection they had built and couldn't wait to start this new chapter with her. He said that Taylor understood him at a deeper level, further adding:
"I love that like, I feel comfortable and confident going forward with you. No matter what like, we encountered, that we'd be able to handle it. And I was very excited to like, tackle this stuff with you. You understand me better than I could have even hoped a partner would."
Taylor, on the other hand, mentioned that she was very much in love with Garrett. She talked about Garrett's communication skills, which were reaffirming for her. However, she stated that women are used to hearing "a lot of words" and, most of the time, actions are lacking.
The 30-year-old clean energy policy consultant told Garrett that they had to go back to DC and address a few things, and that was when the "actions need to come." She mentioned:
"I loved the pods with you because it affirmed the communication skills I need. But now in the real world, like, the actions need to come."
Garrett further mentioned they had some problems to resolve, including aligning their busy lives. The Love Is Blind cast member said he wanted to see if they both were willing to compromise to make their relationship work, and whether it would be worth it. However, he reassured Taylor, stating that he was willing to make it work even if it meant changing his life. He stated:
"We have a lot of like, problems that we still have to solve. We are trying to align two very well-set up, well-structured high-intensity lives from two very ambitious, aggressive people."
