Big Brother season 26 episode 37 was released exclusively on CBS on October 10 at 8:00 PM ET/PT. Toward the end of this episode, it was revealed that Rubina Bernabe was to be evicted from the house - a decision taken by one of the remaining houseguests, Makensy Manbeck.
The 35-year-old Los Angeles native and event bartender, Rubina, joined the jury as a sixth member and was the thirteenth eliminated contestant in the reality TV competition series. Following her eviction, the three remaining contestants—Makensy Manbeck, Chelsie Baham, and Cam Sullivan-Brown—will be competing in the finale episode, which will air on Sunday, October 13.
While exiting the Big Brother house, Rubina told show host Julie Chen Moonves that she was grateful for this opportunity and was glad to experience something like this. Rubina expressed her gratitude by saying:

“Humbled, blessed, grateful to even have the opportunity to make it this far. I’m shocked. There is no experience like this. I’ve gone through crazy things and this is by far the craziest. I wouldn’t change it for anything.”
Rubina talks about her time on Big Brother season 26
Reflecting on her time in the Big Brother house, Rubina talked about her showmance with Tucker Des Lauriers. Rubina shared that after Tucker's eviction, she thought she might be a target in the eyes of other houseguests.
However, that wasn't the case, and she was able to secure her position in the house almost till the end. Rubina admitted that Tucker's exit made her focus more on the game rather than "trying to resist a relationship." She commented:
“I just hope that there’s an opportunity there at all. I hold no expectations, but it was really cool to meet someone after four long years of not meeting anyone! It was really nice to make that connection."
The eliminated Big Brother contestant said she wanted the three women to be in Sunday's finale episode. Previously, she had tried to convince Makensy to save her, by promising to choose Makensy for the final two in case Rubina won the final Head of the Household competition. Bernabe talked about her connection with Makensy, as she said:
“I am not afraid of sitting next to another strong, amazing woman and I’m all about women empowerment. I would hold true to that. We’ve gone a really long time in this game together. I just feel closer to her than I do Chelsie. I know that’s not how you’re supposed to play the game, but I lean into how I feel a lot.”
Toward the end of the exit interview, Rubina elaborated that she had a feeling she was the person about to be sent home. Despite wanting to be in the final alongside Makensy and Chelsie, Rubina's expectations were crushed. She continued:
“[Makensy] told me moments ago that they had a final three. It was giving that energy towards the last five. I was like, 'This feels a little like a final three,’ when it was Kimo who was going to go. Then, I inevitably thought it might be me next, but I wanted it to be three women at the end."
