Big Brother season 26 so far has had a new Head of Households every week alongside eliminations. Kenney Kelley was one of the houseguests who was evicted from the show after his fellow co-stars voted against him in episode 11.

In the elimination challenge, Kenney, Tucker, and Quinn competed in a game called 'Data Dump.' Tucker won, leaving the cast to decide between Quinn and Kenney. Kenney was eliminated but was content with the decision. He told Julia that being away from his family was hard, and if he had joined the show five years earlier, his approach would have been different.

In an interview with Parade on August 10, 2024, the Big Brother star opened up about how the group dynamics changed due to alliances. He gave his opinions on each decision including Tucker favoring Angela and going against Quinn. Kenney shared Tucker wasn't ready to even consider "changing his mind."

"You could have told him that there was actually zero votes in the house for it, and Tucker wouldn't have changed his mind. But he really felt as though he could blow up Quinn's game," Kelley shared.

Kenney shares his thoughts on the Big Brother season 26 house dynamics

Previously on Big Brother season 26, the Head of Household Cedric nominated three contestants for elimination Kenney, Tucker, and Angela Murray. This was done due to Cedric's beef with Angela, he wanted her to be evicted. Upon hearing this, Tucker took advantage of his power of veto to save Angela and put Quinn on the spot.

He was sure of putting Quinn in a dangerous position that could lead to his elimination. Even when Makensy Manbeck was chosen as the third nominee, she was saved from America's veto. So, Cedric ended up choosing Quinn instead. But Tucker's plan didn't work as the majority voted for Kenney to be sent home.

In a conversation with Gold Derby on August 9, 2024, Kenney shared the reason he was voted out instead of Quinn was because he was considered a strong player and a threat in the eyes of others.

“At the end of the day, they made the right decision. And they didn’t make the decision because they think that I was missing home. They knew I was a competitor. I was second in almost every competition if I didn’t win it," Kenney said.

When it comes to Quinn's position in the house, Kenney discussed that his power to become the Head of the Household has its own cons. He said that Quinn was a great player too, but using his power won't be the best decision at this stage.

Kenney further stated that if the Big Brother contestant uses his power there would be a "lot of explaining to do."

“So that’s a huge game-changer and that power is not as powerful as I think you would think, especially if you’re in the house and you know the relationships that are going on," he said.
